frank_spencer Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Don't forget the foam fingers. Good idea! Should i get us a couple of Morph suits? Is there a hotel i can rob dressing gowns from like those 2 whacky leeds fans on Saturday?
EyesRight Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Unfortunately it is true, thats the problem with cheap tickets and free travel, kids will bring their school mates (using their parents STs most likely).
L/H White Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 As someone suggested. They should of announced free travel after the tickets were sold. Or after the first week of sales.
MickyD Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 How do you know that? I don't. I'm just adding to the excitement.
snowball Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Got mine at 3.30pm, no problem, no queue five tills 'manned' took five minutes to decide which one was available. Booo! Shit ticket office. couldn't get free travel confirmed though as it was 'all sold out', which found a bit odd. Got to ring tomorrow to sort out travel if want the freebie fun bus.
clown Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 It's not the end of the world if some regular fans have to miss out so some newcomers get the chance to go to a big game. Hopefully they will come to other games if they enjoy it and we will have bigger crowds at the Mac.
COYW Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 it is but it should be done on vouchers like they did in 2000/01 season season ticket plus voucher from 1 or 2 away games first then down to 1 voucher then season tickets and open sale Liverpool required proof that supporters had attended their previous THIRTEEN FA Cup ties over the last ten years, in order to get one of the 825 tickets they received for the Wimbledon game!
Traf Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 People buying tickets so Munichs an attend the match now, seriously. People really need to give their heads a wobble. Eh? A valid season ticket client ref is a pretty good scheme. If some cunt gives their ref to a Munich then how's that the club's fault? Having said that, I hope you're taking the piss, Eyesright? It's true. @WillFarley25 bought tickets for @DaveRyanMUFC96 amongst others.

Boby Brno Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 allocations rarely stop them going anyway wonder how many of the 825 got stolen at the turnstilesI take it your missus doesn't read this! ????
onlyoneawalker Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I take it your missus doesn't read this! ???? Hahahha being married to one qualifies me to give em stick!
radcliffe white Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Liverpool required proof that supporters had attended their previous THIRTEEN FA Cup ties over the last ten years, in order to get one of the 825 tickets they received for the Wimbledon game!this is how we should operate but obviously on a smaller scale, so the lads who went to likes of Fulham, charlton,Norwich and millwall midweek shouldn't have to worry about not getting one.
Big E Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 the MUFC tag is bad but if he has a season ticket then can't complain can we. They do after all back the club
Traf Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 this is how we should operate but obviously on a smaller scale, so the lads who went to likes of Fulham, charlton,Norwich and millwall midweek shouldn't have to worry about not getting one. Huzzah!
tomski Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I'm sorry I think a season ticket is a fair gauge. Its tough to keep everyone happy.
Traf Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 the MUFC tag is bad but if he has a season ticket then can't complain can we. They do after all back the club I've said as much
Matt Lofthouse Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Just had a look to see when Sturridge is due back (31.01.15), it also has Gerrard out with a hamstring injury with no return date. *matt clutching at straws
MickyD Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I had said to the girl at the till that I was going on the train. She said that, as travel was free, I may as well take the travel tickets. I told her that they run the risk of having to order more busses than they'll need. It seemed she didn't get the point I was making.
Carlos Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 this is how we should operate but obviously on a smaller scale, so the lads who went to likes of Fulham, charlton,Norwich and millwall midweek shouldn't have to worry about not getting one. So basically give cockney whites priority?
onlyoneawalker Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 You just can't please all the people all the time - all wanderers fans are the same for me whether they go every week or every Preston guild
frank_spencer Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 (edited) So basically give cockney whites priority?Or those that enjoy a jolly boys outing and paying the away team over those that go every game at the macron and put money in the club's coffers. ~@ Edited January 11, 2015 by frank_spencer
radcliffe white Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 So basically give cockney whites priority?not at all its season ticket holders who have vouchers and it worked a treat that season. Basically you have earned your stripes so to speak so you know you will be guaranteed a ticket
