MalcolmW Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 You just can't please all the people all the time - all wanderers fans are the same for me whether they go every week or every Preston guild Was the Preston reference really necessary - you could have just said "or every 20 yearrs"?
Casino Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 i'd go a season ticket holder with some history of away games a season ticket holder some home games then, everybody else i do think something should be done to reward those who are still buying season ticklets now over any who buy em next time we get in the prem, mind
freds dad Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Should you get higher priority if you have had a ST for a number of years?
tomski Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Or those that enjoy a jolly boys outing and paying the away team over those that go every game at the macron and put money in the club's coffers. ~@ season ticket holders are no better or worse than others. But people know the score. Priority goes to s/t holders, its no shock.
ex_midlandwhite Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 We sell out so rarely it's probably not worth the cost or admin to do such a scheme. What games have we sold out the last few seasons? Wigan away? And that was because they didnt want to sell the last 150 on the day. Hudds even went to pay on day. I'd be pleasantly surprised if this didn't go to open sale
MickyD Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Should you get higher priority if you have had a ST for a number of years? This is where I'm at. Someone could go and buy a child's half season ticket now and get the same rights as someone having a season ticket for twenty or thirty years.
Leyther_Matt Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Think folk are getting their knickers in a twist over nowt here. First game in how long that we might sell out before general sale, and even then that's far from guaranteed in itself. Season ticket holder for that season is the best and most efficient way. If we reach a situation where we sell out EVERY away game then it's the time to look at loyalty schemes and the like, but until then it's all a little daft when you can pay on the gate for 99% of away games.
onlyoneawalker Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Was the Preston reference really necessary - you could have just said "or every 20 yearrs"? True
Guest Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 With the cards we use as season tickets, there should be no logistical issue to allocating tickets in any way appropriate to demand
tomski Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 This is where I'm at. Someone could go and buy a child's half season ticket now and get the same rights as someone having a season ticket for twenty or thirty years.I wouldn't worry demand isn't that high, to see that as an actual problem
embankment Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 What about "The Dog" is he not going? Fizzy Bears?
embankment Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Dogs on finest bog roll duty. Dawwwnn sarff going Pinocheo's dad going Plus me. Thats the 8. Fizzzzy bears plus wigglies combination for this one.
MickyD Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I wouldn't worry demand isn't that high, to see that as an actual problem Not yet it isn't. What if we win? Then what if we win again? Wigan won this cup recently so I don't see Bolton winning it as pie in the sky.
Big E Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 How do you class loyalty though? People travelling long distances? People going every home game but never away? People going away but not at home? Lifeline members ? Gold line?
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 How do you class loyalty though? People travelling long distances? People going every home game but never away? People going away but not at home? Lifeline members ? Gold line? Number of posts on WWays?
tomski Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Not yet it isn't. What if we win? Then what if we win again? Wigan won this cup recently so I don't see Bolton winning it as pie in the sky.Nor do I. But perhaps worry about it then fella.
Traf Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Number of posts on WWays? That would be ridiculous. The away end would be full of cunts.
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Would be a frightening cross section of Bolton fans that's for sure.
SalfordOriginal Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Don't think non STs will have to worry. All those who purchased first thing without using the appropriate number of client refs are being contacted by ticket master as their purchases are invalid, so should be plenty back into the pot
gonzo Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 People that pay for their match tickets all of the time generally get priority. Pretty simple really. Give the club money, you get tickets. Job done.
mannyroad58 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Got 16 not a problem, bit of flirting with the owd trout behind the counter, she loved it but micky d wasnt happy as it took ages for her to process that many. I loved it, it was like being back at burnden back in the old days
EyesRight Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Bought 10 this morning but needed 10 references. A lot of people on their phones trying to get through other ways. I imagine we will sell out in the next couple of days.
