Just mention you know Carl Dav, he's like Johnny Wilkinson to the French in the Guiness Ad

Went to El Classico at the weekend in Barca. Would recommend that experience (as opposed to other Barca games) to anyone.

Plenty of folks with kids seem to enjoy Turkey

One of my nippers is 1 year old, so flying longer than 2 hours is a no no unless they expect me to turn into a Lubitz

Looks like Caribbean is out for May unless we do Jamaica and I've been warned off

Might have to be Mexico or South Florida

They're all starting to look the same now

Depends how of your kids are. We had a great time at viva hotels in Spain, particularly Viva Menorca at Cala N Bosch.

Kids clubs, in particular are great for kids between 4 and 12

Danny G reckons Jamaica isn't best for your money

Why do I need to pull myself together?

When my kids were nippers,  We loved to go to Puerto Pollensa in Majorca. The beach is lovely and the centre is pedestrianised, so you'll feel relaxed with the kids. Pollensa has an upmarket feel to the place, so you shouldn't encounter any rough family's, which is a bonus.

A convertible car, your best mate and absolutely no idea where you're going. We had a ball!

There are some really nice places south of Cancun.

Tried Cozumel; great diving but lots of skanky Yanks and Canadians

Jamaica is great. Not sure why you've been warned off, but I've been a few times and had no issue at all. Depends what you want to do. If you want to roam all over outside of trips then Jamaica is probably not the best bet in the world, but far from impossible.

Mexico is good for free roaming but in the touristy areas it is a fair drive to anywhere.

Barbados is good if you're loaded or want to watch people who are.

Depends what you want, if you're after a luxury resort with a few trips then Jamaica is great, as pretty much is anywhere in the caribbean. If you want decent food avoid Cuba, but Havana is absolutely amazing if you want that sort of thing.

If you want cheap go Dominican Republic. If you want a balance of cheap with some decent quality food and drink go to Jamaica. If you want luxury and more go Barbados.
