I picked the porto santo hotel out as it looks reasonable to go with a young un.

Not expecting it to be a brits abroad chavy place and an ok flight time with baby.

Try Tunisia, best hotel there with Thomson kids club is Tour Khalef, and it's AI, on the beach, and cheap as fuck.

After spending the last 20 years in Southern Spain for our summer holidays, we decided on a total change and we went to Egypt (Makadi Bay) last August. I was also thinking the same, that it would be too hot, but fortunately, it was great! There was a lovely breeze throughout the day and we didn't feel the heat anywhere near like we did in Spain. (We also have kids btw)
