February 21, 201511 yr Read what I wrote again. All of it. Not just the bits you want to. Nowhere have I said it wasn't the fault of Chelsea fans. Quite the opposite. That's in your head that. What you are doing is what the press do and lumping them all in the same bucket of shit when you know as little as I do about it. There could have been 20 fans in there and 4 of them acting the cunt. We don't know. I said what I said because I can see it happening once the dicks had had their moment in the sunshine. It might not, he might have hit them all over the head with his nob, got a mouth organ out of his bag and started a ditty or maybe even pissed into someone's pocket. We don't know but I took a guess because sometimes people can see beyond what the fucking papers want you to think. But don't make the suggestion that I condone the actions of those singing what they did or the prick pushing him off the train. Ok? Politically you and I are a long way apart. Hopefully when it comes to common sense we are a bit closer, it is strange how many of the outraged over this are responding to posts by focusing on the odd line in posts rather than the full arguement. 1 The Chelsea fans who were singing were dickheads, what they did was at best stupid 2. The video is edited until people have seen ful tape hard to say what went on, it might be even worse! 3. This does NOT mean all Chelsea fans are scum 4. This does not mean the lad getting on the train deserved it - Mourihino has written to him apologising 5. There will be worse incidents of people acting like knobs across city centres tonight. People will be beaten senseless by drunken idiots tonight, these will merit a column in the local papers at most 6. Across the world there is so much that is more newsworthy. I am still not sure what law they have broken. They have seemingly stopped a bloke getting on a full train and then sung a song. The song is pathetic and cringeworthy but what law does it break ? Is saying ' I am a rascist' an offence ? I honestly do not know but pretty sure no one has been prosecuted for it before. If it is why are members of far right groups not just arrested for being members of the groups ? If anyone following this story has never done anything stupid on a night out with mates or when on the piss at the match then go ahead cast the first stone. Every action deserves an appropriate reaction all people are saying is that based on what the tape shows the reaction is way over the top. This is the opposite of saying just ignore it. The saddest thing on here is the morally outraged talking about predictable responses when there are views across the spectrum posted on this thread maybe they need to spend some time reading all the responses and their sentiment before claiming the moral high ground.
February 21, 201511 yr HI Ani, having lived in France the french take this far more seriously than we do. Racist chanting , gestures etc under French law can set you back 3 years in jail and/or a large fine. Lets forget all the stuff written above, if you go to a foreign country, you must be aware and respect their laws, the small minority of Chelsea lads were dumb, but it could cost them dear. I suspect this will run and run as it seems the French criminal system is now looking at this.

February 21, 201511 yr if these lads had been associated to a non-english football club , would this make the local rag never mind national news, we all know the answer.
February 21, 201511 yr I'd like to see these 3 year sentences for racism over here. Zero tolerance.me too I've been racially abused loads of times on Blackburn rd,funnily enough whilst visiting a muslim house

February 21, 201511 yr I'd like to see these 3 year sentences for racism over here. Zero tolerance. No. In this country already an offence with attract a harsher sentence if it is judged to be racially motivated. This, to me, is a nonsense, the crime should be punished not the reasons behind it. Race relations in this country have come on leaps and bounds since I was a kid, we don't need any more legislation.
February 21, 201511 yr Can't believe people are still going in about this move on it happens every week

February 22, 201511 yr Carlos would give them 3 years. Or would he? You get me wrong, Skip. Three year for basic racism, before violence comes into play.
