There was a great article somewhere on the net 2 or 3 lads and their trip to Ancona think there was only about 10 went whereas Pisa it was close to a 1000.

It was Ascoli not Ancona. Just checked the final was between Ascoli and Notts County at Wembley I have no recollection of that game.

I've been to the site before, but only in its previous role as an athletics stadium.

That was demolished and a new athletics stadium built nearby before construction on the new football ground could begin.

Might see if mummy Spencer will give my pops a pass for this to replace the Bournemouth game.
