Coyle wasted money though on players that hardly played for us, that money would have made difference as well. Then theres the regular first teamers who knew the contracts they were on were not going to be repeated here. Let's hope Lenny can get 11 players together who look like the give a shit and can play a bit as well

Let's hope Lenny can get 11 players together who look like the give a shit and can play a bit as well If someone offered me some temp work and I knew I was leaving in a couple of weeks with no prospect of a permanent job, I probably wouldn't even turn in some days - let alone break a sweat. Some footballers are no different, just going through the motions. And the fact he did justifies why he wasn't offered a deal. Lennon has seen through some players, who are either out or on their way out. Shame that it can't be done quicker, but he will get there.

Cared a lot FWIW and made a real effort making sure the older lads, youth and foreigners all gelled, thought it was his job as captain.

Didn't care enough to put a shift in last 6 weeks for me that shows a lack of professionalism and character don't care what comes out of his mouth his actions spoke volumes and I think that's why NL got shut.

His wages could realistically pay for Morgan and Pringle from Rotherham and leave a bit left over. Bogdan on the other hand has improved considerably and had a number of outstanding games.

May 23, 201511 yr I remember listening to GMR on the way home from the Macron a while back and I can't remember which broadcaster said, that when Mills was a youngster at Man City, he'd only played a couple of reserve games and yet he pulled up on Man City's car park, with the fanciest of sports cars, kind of sums him up really and no I won't miss his pointless hoof balls one bit!

Just posted this in the contract offers thread, then read this one so here... Matt Mills apparently having a medical at Dougies Forrest. The max they can offer due to FFP is 10k a week, rumours suggest he was on far more at the Macron. Now if he is prepared to play for 10k a week, does it not suggest that NL dosen't want the chap, rather can cant afford him? He has spoken to a few fans and said ge wanted to stay (family settled etc), but no contract offered. The release of our club captain and one of he most played players (although I don't think he's as technically gifted as Dervite / Ream / Baptiste, or aggressive / dominant as Wheater) last season strikes me as a positive, or that NL is going shit or bust. DF was also rumoured to be in for Morgan (and he fitted more in his Aldi shopping range). - seems we will soon find out whether Lennon is as good / better / the same as DF very soon. I truly hope he succeeds and im missing footy already. 77 more sleeps (to Rotherham away)..................,
