kevsta69 Posted March 12, 2016 Author Share Posted March 12, 2016 Great night in Barnsley for 2 of my good mates Halliwell's Joe Murnan qualifying for Gibraltar/Hamburg and Ross Smith who lived in Bolton for a bit beat Phil Taylor to qualify for Gibraltar then drew him again in Hamburg qualifier and almost beat Taylor again but narrowly lost 6-5.Qualifiers for Players Champs for Minehead starts tomorrow ???? kevsta69 Posted March 16, 2016 Author Share Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) Another good weekend for Joe Murnan in Barnsley.Qualified for both euros Gibraltar and Hamburg.Saturday got to last 16 beating Whitlock along the way.Was 4-1 and 5-2 up against Peter Wright missed bull for 167 to beat him and then 3 darts at double in last leg,missed and lost 6-5.Then on Sunday got to last 32 was 2-1 up against Adrian Lewis and lost 6-3.No shame losing to number 4 and 5 in the world.Also played in Astley Bridge league last week.Top down to earth lad and moved up to 43 in the world ????
