August 4, 201511 yr I'm proper fed up of this topic. People who believe the debt is no problem, and FFP is just a temporary nuisance, will believe that until events prove otherwise. People who believe the opposite & don't trust ED & PG will remain worried about the outcome unless & until ED writes the debt off or sells the club, and the club manage to match expenditure to income,, in whatever division. Enough already.
August 4, 201511 yr I still owe the newsagent next to Willows park for around 3 months newspapers and various educational magazines ordered around November 1985. When I resided on Hawthorn Rd. Shop is now owned by an enterprising young man who's family moved to this wonderful country of ours some time ago. Sometimes I lie awake worried about my dept. Hopefully having a agony column such as this one will aliviate my stress.

August 5, 201511 yr Why does every thread have to turn in to a moan about our debt? I'm sick of it! I'm still surprised anybody still actually cares about it
August 5, 201511 yr "The Great Big Debt Thread" Is this a thread about a great big debt, or great big thread about a debt ? Just so's I know.
August 5, 201511 yr "The Great Big Debt Thread" Is this a thread about a great big debt, or great big thread about a debt ? Just so's I know. A good question. I'm surprised nobody else has asked already. Wait, hang on, oh they already did.
August 6, 201511 yr Thanks mum. In my defence, if I needed one, is that I don't start work today until 10, and I work within walking distance. And I wasn't realy pissed, I just couldn't be arsed reading right through a thread telling me what I already knew. We're skint.
August 11, 201511 yr Author Peter Risdale was in chairmans suite on Saturday watching game with Gartside.
August 11, 201511 yr But if it's NOT to go in here, where IS it supposed to go? I'm confused by the OP. Enough to break my silence after God knows how long!
August 26, 201511 yr In reports published this week on Football League clubs debt we are apparently top of the league. 1. BWFC 182.1M 2. QPR 179.6M 3.Ipswich 82.1M
August 26, 201511 yr Author How can a club that's been pottering around the championship for ten years be £80 million in debt? At least we had some fun in return for ours.
August 26, 201511 yr The 183m debt was posted on LoV last week http://lionofviennasuite.sbnation.com/2015/8/19/9175719/wanderers-debt-and-new-owner-hunt-revealed Who the fuck knows what's really going on other than Davies and Gartside. Just really sad to see us in this state.
August 26, 201511 yr I'm not overly concerned about the debt, the problem the club has is that we currently spend too much more than we bring in. Debt or no debt this would still be a problem for us.
August 26, 201511 yr Author We struggled to get 10k on for home games last season. Actual people through the doors that is including away fans. Who in their right mind would invest in that? Like I say we have found our natural level. Skint, poorly supported and in a league position to suit. Anything else is punching above our weight and will either take big investment to achieve or somehow we manage to cobble together a sqaud to get us promoted. Other teams have done the latter,as have we albeit in a different era.
