The supporters trust will consist of a load of conspiracy theorists moaning about the ownership, demanding answers to pointless questions. If things go badly we'll never hear the end of them. If they go well they will go very quiet and wait for something to go wrong.

 

I was in favour of a supporters trust until they decided to throw their questions into the mix right at the time the club was in danger of admin or liquidation. That was a cunts trick and showed them up for what they really are. Everyone may be concerned about sports shield but to do that publically a few days before a judge could have shut us down, was wrong. It wasn't like there was any time or any other option.

No prizes for guessing what this pretentious lot will think of ordinary football supporters but don't be surprised if you get more spin than the combined output of two centuries of Bolton cotton mills.

I think this has potential to go either way, my gut instinct tells me trouble on the horizon, supporters trust has some very savvy folk on board (I'm led to believe) SS have to get fans on board for this to succeed, ST must get round the table with SS and work out how every one can be on board with the plans if SS do an Eddie Davies and don't run a club that's inclusive it'll implode sooner rather than later. You can also include the supporters club in any talks. Failure to get fans on board will make life impossible for SS. FWIW think Deano in touch enough with the fans feelings to know this.

I'd doubt Disley involved with ST. Yes we all agree to be convinced they have to show they can act in the interest of a large part of the support base, obviously the ESLSC won't be included as its self styled leader Mr H Che Guevara will be leading that organization like the Tamil Tigers. ????
