I've assume they are in the WSU as I've not seen one of them in the ESL.

What property? The car park. Hope we do, I fucking loved that car park

That tarmac and kerb edging could be the difference between a mid table finish or promotion push next season. Car park in!

1 random tit who just happened to be involved in the creation of the trust gobbling off isn't representative of the folk on the steering group or in the trust. Hence my question. Folk really need to get a grip on reality. ( not aimed at you NB) xx

He is seen by many, including myself, as part of the trust. I know you'll say they are only asking questions but I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking the trust seem to have a very negative attitude towards the clubs owners. You see this as a black and white thing but I would say I am sceptical about rather than anti the trust.

The jury is out on their motives.

The trust is positive supporter of the club and the new owners this has been discussed at meetings and the sentiment is genuine, in my opinion the BWSA is formed to support the club blindly if you will, the trust have a responsibility to ask questions dig deep and not just accept that everything happening at the club is in the best interest of BWFC this might be perceived as negativity to the clubs owners, in fact it isn't and shouldn't be construed as negative it's based on a genuine desire to want the very best for BWFC and to hold owners accountable this i see as very very important as should every fan of the club.

I love your enthusiasm for the trust, I don't however fully subscribe to your view of them or understand why you believe everything they say as fact. As I say, the jury is still out until after the elections.

The simple question I ask myself is why fans who clearly love BWFC would go to the time and effort to set up a trust to then systematically want to damage the club they love, that to me would be the action of utter lunatics, therefore I subscribe to the opinion that the trust is a force for good and the reason I support them and think the polar opposite view is strange, fans who hold a neutral hold position I can understand.

I suppose it would depend on if you think all the individuals do actually "love the club" and aren't just in it for their own personal gain - wether that be either through potential "ownership of the club" at some point in the near future and all that can go with it.

For the record, I remain neutral with regards to the ST - I'm not sure I can make any opinion on them until after they have their elections.

Self-promotion, that's why. Not in the case of Chris P but I suspect so in the case of Mike Smith/Josh8.

That is possible but I think anyone who's got self interest rather than the club would soon be outed. The majority of members I would think care first, second and foremost about the good of the club.

The people leading the trust need to be measured and responsible in their public and private publications and use of the media. They should be altering their natural behaviour and instinct to reflect what they represent and how things may be interpreted or how they may negatively impact the trusts reputation and the more importantly the club. They need to avoid coming across like halfwits dressed in pop stained replica shirts covered with pin badges.

I respect someone like mounts opinion re them getting off their arses in our hour of need but that is over now and isn't a blank cheque on credibility. FWIW I haven't joined and I won't until I know exactly who is running it and what the remit of the ST is.

Some valid points here, but have you took the time and trouble to go to any of the meetings?

There is little chance of the st people actually getting a position on the club board or in its employ.

The chance of a take over isn't yet that big and I'm a confident they are in it for the good of the club.

Moreover if they did end up taking over and they do get some personal gain then as long as they make a good job of it,then so what.

Let's be honest, any new owner is looking to get something out of it for their own ends.

I shit myself thinking Yoda had died then

If you join, you can have your vote on who is running it

If you'd joined earlier & completed the survey, you'd have already had a say in what the current remit is.

The information you seek is on their website. If you have the time, I'd encourage you to read up on the current developments.

The ST are seen by many as linked to LOV , rightly or wrongly, that is the case. LOV seem to be one of the main ones who want the new regime to fail so they can stand by and say I told you so.

Question for you and Mounts ,'if the club is really successful do we need a ST?' By successful I mean financially stable and pushing for promotion.

If yes , why do we need it ?

Even the likes of Arsenal and the Stretford lot have an ST.

I don't see what harm a serious, organised, professionally led ST can do in holding those in power to account.

I do have concerns about the LoV types, but looking at some of the profiles of those putting themselves forward for election, the leadership is highly unlikely to be made up of those sorts following the elections.

Yes we need a trust 100% and it needs to be strong because in my opinion we need a place on the board, the fans are the club and been treated with more with contempt than a welcome by most of the owners in my time watching the club, the trust should work with the owners, fans and the wider community to help promote and champion the club, and in the event of the worst happening a safety net that guarantees the club survives. What's not to like about that?
