If folk have bought the club with no money, why didnt wanderersways buy it?

Let's not be silly folk who have the good of the club at heart not going to stir up vicious rumours , I'm commenting on the trust and not Manning. Didn't want to disappoint Gonk.

:D

What discord, again because someone as said they cant agree on a manager, no proof just fucking whispers

No you're right, the place is so harmonious, and the new regime have really straightened all the most basic problems, it's fucking stupid to think that there's anything to worry about

Administration? Yeah that would go down a real treat now, especially as we could have done that last season and the 12 point deduction and inevitable relegation wouldn't have made any difference to our plight then. Totally different ball game now.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing, and yes a few months on, it now looks like that was exactly what we should have done. To do it now removes many uncertainties further down the line, not to mention Davies future demands and still loading us with debts. Sure, he is a creditor in administration, but better to lance the boil now, because let's face it, we're not going to be promoted this season

Did anyone really think that the takeover was going to be all roses and moonlight ?

The club is losing money hand over fist and a series of difficult decisions need to be made. Assuming Holding does get sold we will be almost forced to take the deal from whoever offers most cash up front, the idea of being able to wait for potential long term add ons wont be an option.

Of course the new owners are going to have disagreements why these are getting out sand being debated on t'internet is the bigger concern.

As mentioned the saddest thing is the people on the sidelines twitching for something to go wrong so they can jump and claim 'they knew along'

It's the X Factor generation, think they should be able to watch the proceedings on TV and then vote. Get a grip, the season isn't even over yet.

The reactions of some folk must think that all chairmen and chief executives at every business agree on everything all the time.

I'm sure in most cases when interviewing for a job one person will prefer candidate a and the other candidate b.

It's about how these differences of opinion are dealt with.

I've seen nothing, other than Internet hearsay from the same folk who have us having transfer talks with players in the hotel, to suggest there's anything out of order.

Exactly.

Admin wasn't an option towards the end. It was pay HMRC or go out of existance.

so you have no proof, of course the club as issues, if they didn't we wouldn't have all that shit over the summer, the new guys have hardly got their new chairs warm and people are already having a pop. The amount of shit the club was is ( and is still in) will not be resolved over night it will take time (mainly because we could not find a rich, mad Arab)

ST released this today.

As reported in the Bolton News online on 23 May 2016, we would confirm that we have again made contact with the Football League by letter to reiterate the questions that we raised some 11 weeks ago.

As you may recall, the initial list of questions was issued in an attempt to obtain transparency on matters relating to the stability and sustainability of our club on behalf of the fans and was openly addressed to any prospective future owner. To date we have still not received any detailed response to the matters raised.

We would also confirm that the Football League have responded to our letter by offering to meet with us in the near future to discuss matters in more detail. We will be taking up this offer and will report back to BWFCST members as soon as the meeting has been scheduled and held.

In the meantime, in line with the results from the recent member survey, we will continue to monitor the current situation and we will report any relevant developments directly to members.

Whilst speculation surrounding aspects of finance and governance of the club continues, it is our aim to monitor the situation, work to separate fact from rumour wherever possible, react when appropriate and subsequently report back to the Trust members.

The Steering Group hope that you will agree that our ongoing monitoring and reporting is a responsible course of action to take as our club now moves into the close season.

I'm happy that ST asking questions, some folk call it rocking the boat but I'd say doing fuck all when ED was in charge wasn't the brightest thing to do so I'm behind the ST on this.

They haven't been elected yet, the people doing this have no legitimacy.

They haven't been elected yet, the people doing this have no legitimacy.

They've done a survey of ST members who majority want these questions asked, that gives them a mandate in my eyes while the elections being organized. Doing nothing got us in this mess do you think that the do nothing policy is the best route forward? Recently fans said the ST were doing nothing now they do something criticized again.

Doing nothing didn't get us into this mess, much more complicated than that, as well you know. Having a meeting will change nothing ffs.

The point still remains that these people will be out of their positions in a matter of weeks so they should pipe down, get the elections out of the way and crack on.

The mandate is given by the survey, the trust has to keep momentum, fans who have been criticizing the trust for lack of action they can't win with some fans, the clubs on life support FFS.

I'm not sure I've criticised them for lack of action, just the length of time it too to set up a bank account and run an election (still ongoing btw).

Pretty much all their other actions, trying to buy the club etc. are embarrassing. The twat running their (actually our) Twitter account needs shipping back to Woodside.

Or was there a survey that gave them a mandate to act like a bellend on social media too?

That's LOV and not ST. Let's have it right.

Nah, the Supporters' Trust own Twitter account. Although they seem to have undone all the retweeting they had done, so well done on that front. Progress!

Rome wasn't built in a day, it all takes time but I'm very happy with the progress and direction the ST taking. No other group in my 40 years as a Wanderer has challenged what's going on at the club we have been subservient group of fans for too long it's time for a shake up its exactly what's needed.

There's absolutely no doubt the BWSA will want their involvement, to come and do fuck all, and if voted in then so be it. Hence they should hold their horses, they could be upsetting people before the actual supporters have been appointed.
