I'm not concerned in the slightest, clearly a fantasist. Feel free to post anything that's in the public domain.

If rather people read the search results and make up their own minds.

Lolz.

Is this about MC from Daisy Hill?

If so LOLS

His mrs went bankrupt last year according to that link I just posted.

Not just her I believe!

Can you not just post a link instead of this cryptic bullshit?

Blimey charlie,

Well I never.

I was told a story... Didn't think it would get beyond the walls of the cricket club

Nothing much but someone running a pub in Westhoughton doesn't suddenly have enough cash or the connections. As businessmen go, he's in the Pop and Crisp League. Something most certainly is not right.

Pop and crisps. Fucking crisps.

Go on?

It's nothing exciting just one of them tales you here that you just think wow that's some serious Stella talk.

Very Brief summary

Advance talks were being held

And to show intent Peter Crouch was signing the week after bonfire night

Ita not even a story

Oh crikey. Mad how this stuff comes about.

To be fair that extra foot over madine could make all the difference. Lennon would be a tactical genius

But we dont have anyone to kick the ball high enough; Fenney is lucky to get the ball to Madines nose

Horses mouth tells us what we already know - holdsworth bid is nothing more than piss and wind, there is no money there.

I'm not convinced any of the bidders of great quality.

Same here, I'm not convinced we're any closer to being sold now than we were 6months ago

Being stuck in this rut with Eddie for another year or two doesn't bear thinking about.Blackpool's league position  now, that could be us in 12 months.

I agree, don't know what can be done about it though. I'm guessing the current bids (If there have actually been some bids) aren't what the owner wants/needs - hopefully somebody at some point will come in with an amount that is deemed acceptable sooner rather than later

It might not even be the upfront cash that's lacking rather a lack of a decent long term plan.

ED might have reached the limit of his financial backing for the club but it doesnt mean he will sell the club down the river to a bunch of no marks.

To be fair, he's got someone in now with a track record of sorting shit like this out. We started dealing with this sensibly after his appointment. The best we can hope for is some movement before the next window.

If we end up with owners who 6 months down the line are coppering up surprised by the cash needed to run a football club then it's a bad do - how can that actually happen

Eddie is doing his best for the club I agree Frank. The fact that he will not just let the club go to anyone, that he has written the debt off and will sell all the assets for a 'reasonable' sum (£15 million I have been told by decent source) is a big plus and one that seems to be beyond the understanding of jturner for one. It also goes some way to countering Casino's consistently gloomy assessment of why someone would want to buy us. Hopefully there is somebody out there who can see the plus side of what we have (our assets) and we can get a competent owner (s) in who can make us competitive in the championship. Other clubs have built sensibly from bankruptcy and near bankruptcy, still hoping against hope it can be us as well.

That carrot of Premiership money is a hell of an incentive for a club with solid financial/infrastructure to aim for. We still do have some plus points in terms of our ground and facilities i'm sure.

With a reasonable backing financially it's not impossible to do a Bournemouth, granted we would need the right manager and I'd give Lennon 12 months after any takeover to see if he can produce when there is some backing and positivity around the club, he's had to fire fight from day one and try to keep spirits up

While everything is crumbling around him, he deserves that opportunity in my eyes.
