Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

Dearden was no better when I was listening on way home, know he's got time to fill but must have asked SJM are we a club in crisis about three times. Lowbrow listening to say the least

Was Eddie there this evening?

I saw Gordon Hargreaves in the entrance ealier.

Maybe its time he comes and sorts us out. After all he took enough out to line his own pockets.

No thanks.

this is what we always used to say about clubs getting foreign backing - "what happens when they get bored and don't want to play anymore" - as if we were better off with a local fan backing us

well, this is what happens

shite

Roverrrrrrs muppet down here reckons a "supporters coalition" is taking that shitpile off the Venkys and the Venkys are taking us over.

Load of fucking twaddle but he's starting to get on my tits with the 'Venky, Venky, Venky, Venky Wanderers' song.

Contemplating hitting the gormless fucker with a plank.

I can't see any backer going to step in and pay money for the club at the moment with the heavy monthly losses and declining revenue stream, the club is worth nothing even with the assets as any potential buyer has to fund the business until costs fall in line with income, therefore ED needs to give the club away to attract s buyer. If he can't offload it the only solution is to call in the administrators. I can't see another solution to this sorry mess.

Just so we can nail it right now, why does a club in admin work for Eddie Davies more than a club outside of it?

It's a serious question, I'm not having a go. It seems every other person thinks we are going into admin some time soon. Just wondering who that benefits as things stand?

Don't know. But the idea of not paying the players would have seemed alarmist nonsense only last week. We are going downhill fast now. Has Bolton Wanderers ever not payed it's playing staff before? And some still think it's part of some master plan? No wonder Gartside did a Cliff Morris and bolted before the shit really hit the fans.

not paying the players was a logical conclusion once birch arrived

you see what you've got

you prioritise your creditors

then you start at the top of the list

you seem to be missing the obvious point

he may well be happy to give it away

its no use giving it to somebody who can't find over 10 million to get up and running

and as blixa asked you, whats the advantage to davies of us going into admin

all these assets that would be sold off may as well be sold off by him

unless no fcuker wants to buy the 500 million quids worth of assets

mcginlays other gem

'northampton were sold in less than a week...i don't know why its taking so long'

It doesn't work for him more. He would obviously rather avoid it. But as he can't put any more money in then someone else could force us into administration. It wouldn't be a great move for them as there would still be no money to pay them, but they could make it happen. Eg the revenue or the loan company we are into.

Players wouldn't have been paid end of last season but for the Brett Warburton loan. The fact no one is stepping in tells me the takeover is close (hopefully)

Parachute money and sale of ream, yet we have no money by November.

Just shows how badly our club is run.

Big contracts for the manager and amos... Signing players we dont even play.

The club has been run by a load of amateurs

Last I heard it was rumoured that ED wanted 20 million, the 10 million you state needed to get it up and running is the main reason I say hes not going to get money for the club, this leads on to your next point if he cannot sell the club with the assets for hard cash it means he is still going to have to bank roll the club or if he has decided thats it as it seems, then the only solution is to put the club under. If he does not do that then someone else might.

Just listening to Gordon Taylor, he says there is money owed to HRMC thats all we need.

There's plenty of assets to sell before you go into admin:-  Hotel, Euxton, Eddie Davies Academy for starters.

Bolton council looking to get involved all our truobles are solved.

Euxton would be the first to sell for me

Depends who from the council.

Worked with some very intelligent and capable people there, there's also plenty of fucking numpties and they seem to be the ones in the upper echelons.

If we go in admin, he's simply a creditor, with the administrator deciding what to sell and at what price. He loses all control of the deal. With that in mind it's an absolute last resort. He might have stopped funding, but I'm guessing he still cares.

But as you say, there might be others, including the tax man, knocking at the door. So not the only man who can effectively pull the plug.

If HRMC dont get paid they will pull the plug. On the face of it this looks likely to happen.

Once the tax folk are involved, it's Pompey time.
