stevieb Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Uriah Rennie was the most biased ref goin. He fucking loved us that lad! Quote
Juan.Kerr Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 No, I'm sorry, but this is one thing that grinds my gears. Refs aren't biased. They are just sometimes shit. And sometimes they aren't shit but the linos are fucking shit and do the ref no favours. The whole thing about Ferguson years ago intimidating and influencing refs. Didn't make them biased. Made them look spineless, weak and shit Apart from Barrie Knight, who was both biased and shit. Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I've seen some shite refereeing in my time but Barry Knight is the only one I'm convinced was corrupt, certain influential figures on the Ipswich board had a hand in that nights events imo. Quote
deane koontz Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Uriah Rennie was the most biased ref goin. He fucking loved us that lad! Indeed, the only games we lost when he was ref were when we were useless and couldn't help ourselves. This just made me chuckle http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11678/2253429/robson-cant-digest-rennie-decision Quote
frank_spencer Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Couldn't stand Alan shearer the cheating shirt grabbing cunt Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Couldn't stand Alan shearer the cheating shirt grabbing cunt He didn't complain when he stood in front of Jussi to stop him kicking it, thus getting the keeper yellow carded for time wasting Quote
gonzo Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Or when he booted Lenny in the face and walked away scot free. Quote
DaveTheRave Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Or when he booted Lenny in the face and walked away scot free. Didn't he threaten to pull out of the England squad if he got charged for it? Quote
snowball Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 He didn't complain when he stood in front of Jussi to stop him kicking it, thus getting the keeper yellow carded for time wasting That was the Eton Headmaster, Mr Elleray wasn't it? What a jumped up, attention seeking twat he was. Only behind Barry Knight & Mike Riley, oh and Clattenburg. All cunts in fact. And I also dislike Mark Halsey for some unknown reason probably coz he pontificates as if anyone is remotely interested in what he has to say which is invariably shite or just stating the bleeding obvious. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Apart from the already mentioned usual suspects, I also hated Trelford Mills and Steve Bennett post-diouf at Ewood. I don't really think refs are biased but they are as bad as they ever have been. Maybe it's because they can't ref without using any common sense. Rules, rules and more rules. I blame Blatter and Mick the frog Quote
MalcolmW Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 That was the Eton Headmaster, Mr Elleray wasn't it? What a jumped up, attention seeking twat he was. A mild exaggeration there - he was a Harrow housemaster and head of geography. Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Too many refs wanting to be the star of the show in recent years, making controversial decisions just to make the headlines...step forward Mr P Dowd for example, a cunt of a man. Quote
Naytch Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I'd still go with Barry 'Panic Alarm' Knight and Mike Riley being biased against us. When I think about that Mike Riley game against Leicester, it still makes me angry. Utter cunt of a man Quote
davidjack Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Great feeling when Ricketts got that equaliser though - roof nearly came off! Quote
jayjayoghani Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Elleray did us a favour this game. Could easily have made a big deal with the FA http://www.thefreelibrary.com/BARNSLEY'S+VIDEO+NASTY%3B+Oakwell's+triumph+is+marred+by+late+melee.-a060641988 Quote

Could easily have made a big deal with the FA http://www.thefreelibrary.com/BARNSLEY'S+VIDEO+NASTY%3B+Oakwell's+triumph+is+marred+by+late+melee.-a060641988 Didn't really do us a favour as we did nothing wrong. It happened right in front of where I was stood. It was their steward who would've got fucked. And if the police hadn't dragged the steward away I reckon Pollock would've fucked him there and then. Quote
jayjayoghani Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 It was right in front of me too and Jamie Pollock was being a prick as usual. Quote
DaveTheRave Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 It was right in front of me too and Jamie Pollock was being a prick as usual. The steward caused that situation. Then decided to throw a punch. Quote
gonzo Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 The steward caused that situation. Then decided to throw a punch. Can't open link. What was it? Quote

DaveTheRave Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Can't open link. What was it? When we played Barnsley the ball went out of play near their bench. They were being knobheads and not giving the ball back. It kicked off a bit and a steward steamed in and punched Pollock. Coppers took him away. Quote
jayjayoghani Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 If there'd been an enquiry, the FA should just have called you as a witness Simple as that, we'd have got off How about some of the shit would have stuck We still had a suspended fine from the Battle of Burnden if memory serves Quote
DaveTheRave Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 We didn't cause it so I don't think we would've been in trouble IMO. Quote
bolty58 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Collina was good IMO This bloke was special. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segar_Bastard What was the portly chap with the curly hair who used to run on his tiptoes? Referee from the the 70's? He was excellent entertainment. Quote
