I can't remember the last time I was in a decent town centre, everyone of them, is run down with pound shops, nail shops and now vape shops

All run down dumps

When we went to Shrewsbury on the train last season and exiting the station, all the buildings were like walking onto the set of a period drama. Not a façade of concrete to be seen, or a charity shop, pawn shop or betting shop in sight. Just sandstone and terracotta imposing buildings.

Shrewsbury is one of the few places I’ve visited watching BWFC where I’d consider going back for a weekend break without any football

To be fair to Bolton you've just described Le Mans Crescent and the Town Hall. As used on various period and contemporary dramas.

Which of my facts would you like to correct for me?

i know exactly what anti clockwise is

what i objected to was the use of the word side

the 60 has 2 sides, trafford centre and bury/midd/oldham, so you can go AC on both sides

I always get in the wrong lane coming south from Heywood. I only want to get to Bolton, but I always finish up further South than I intend.

You cannot go clockwise on the anticlockwise side. Nor vice versa.

You can get to the same place using either route.

You’d be spending your time more wisely trying to teach a dog to whistle God Save The King!
