40 years ago tomorrow, I watched Bolton away for the first time ever. A 1-1 draw at Ewood against those inbred banjo playing bastards.

We were already adrift at the bottom of the old first division after a run of dreadful results and performances, but getting the point that day felt like a victory. I hope this season turns out different to that one, and enough said about what happened over the following decade.....COYWM!
