You don't have to go back very far through this thread to see some people thinking he would be "a breath of fresh air" and a "straight talker who will get things done"  -  Surely it was always clear that he's a buffoon, who will get absolutely nothing done. 

 

I hope for the sake of the US that they get rid sooner rather than later.......although as Malc points out, his potential replacement doesn't appear to be all there either

Good leaders lead and make hard decisions it's clear the US had piss poor leadership and you can't sort shit out quickly without breaking some pots. Some of his actions and parts of his personality cause concern however I'll judge him once he's had more time. Certainly the outrage over the Moslem ban was hysterical in the extreme and like I've said I wish the same folk would get hysterical about folk being murdered.
