That's a big increase in one month, considering ev sales have been dropping there.

Ending of grants played a part in that so it is quite a surprise.

Tesla sales also down in China.

There are others in these organisations who must be making these decisions.

Not for one minute is Trump sitting there with a personnel list, crossing out names at random with a red pen.

Some FBI dude told staff to ignore some edict or other, so other senior executives also need to grow a pair, and tell him to fuck off

They have been instructed by rocket man to sack as many people as possible or, presumably, lose their own jobs.

The Trusk marriage will end acrimoniously, and soon.

They can get cancer. It's just that they have an extremely slow metabolism and cell division rate which might theoretically reduce cancer incidence.

I didn't know this by the way - I've juts been reading about it.

The article I read explained that they have a DNA repair mechanism, that helps to stop cancers growing.

It is this mechanism that is interesting to the researchers, for obvious reasons.

Iirc some of them are 400 years old.

Charles the first on the throne, and the fire of London not even a twinkle in a baker's eye.

The point of the article in this morning's Garuddian was that German consumers were protesting against Mr Musk's involvement in the Trump Government by not buying his cars

That notwithstanding, those individuals ought to be undertaking the basic tasks of analysing where cuts can be made safely.

If they can't do that, then maybe they would have been the better targets for dismissal.

Anyway, making poor business decisions may leave the door open for other countries.

I'm not disputing that. It is pretty obvious.

I'm more interested in the sudden rise in EV sales, and what has caused it. Maybe concerns over fuel prices with the war ongoing.

Long may it continue.

Amazing isn't it? Apparently another reason is that they generally swim so deep that there are fewer carcinigens.

And also they very rarely smoke.

Marketing is the only reason people buy these things... the big makers make people think they are helping the environment while knocking them out dirt cheap with big mark ups... we now have the ludicrous situation where Mr and Mrs Eco and Kids park their "green" LED lit motor in an airport car park and then fly one third the way around the planet and back pumping out 90kg of carbon per hour each into the stratosphere.

EV cars are inferior as they will not last very long, cars have become mobile computer platforms and will be very wasteful as the manufacturers will "withdraw support" for this platform just like al of your other tech.

We have missed an opportunity, hybrid electric-hydrogen is the way forward and ditch all of the add on technology

Tesla sales down everywhere, except here, oddly, where they're up 21% last month.

Not sure if you know but whenever you post a link it shows your profile. I think it’s you. It’s been a while since I last met you. 😊

Dunno why that is but if they're called Dave its me

Think Spurs in the platinum suite circa 2010 on Neil's table might be the last time our path's crossed

Company I work for are having to buy EV fleet cars to remain on certain tender lists... all part of decarbonisation audits, glad I don't run a company car, the lack of range would do my head in... we still use diesel plant on site though

What sort of mileage do you do daily?

Same question to your colleagues.

We'll it's not going to be removed if it manages to develop a nuclear weapon, that's for sure.

When I was PM on a major garage/supermarket account I could be literally anywhere in a day... Carlisle, Cornwall, you name it... a big 2 litre six speed diesel lump would do 800 miles on an 11 gallon tank.

Semi-retired office based on a three day week now... pricing maintenance jobs from Brighton to Edinburgh so the younger managers will be putting the miles in if I do my job right!

You may not be aware of this, but it is very humorous that you view EVERYTHING from global politics to environmental concerns to football management through the tiny scope of your own career, and assume every single thing in the world works in accordance with your personal experience. Wanderersways own Alan Partridge. Tremendous entertainment. 😁

He asked me a simple question about my mileage.

You don't need to jump in and fling around your usual pretentious comments... I could rise to your bait but i know what you are

No offense intended. Keep up the good work. 👍

Maybe it can receive one first.
