Trumps speech just now at the Whitehouse was very gushing about the UK and our historical (special?) relationship with the US. Apparently they gave “no closer friends” 😳.

Yeah. I was listening to a journalist who was in the room next to the shooter - and he was saying he couldn't believe how poor the security was.

read / heard pretty much every repulican in line to the presidency was there so the whole lot could've been taken out with no back up in place

and the guy got into the hotel simply by booking a room there on the same day as the event
