I love Lancashire derbies

Aye, but one of the two teams isn't actually in Lancashire

How?

The hatred of the the dirty Munich Bastards is steeped in history.

If it wasn't for the wilderness years of the 80's into the 90's it would be worse than it already is! Check out the atmosphere for the FA Cup at the theatre of shite & Black Sunday to name but 2.

Cheyenne Ambush, never forget, never forgive!

Is the correct response - and just for good measure throw that cunt evans into the mix

Halliwell can be GM if you want, but Bolton is in Lancashire, FACT!

I dont see the Preston derby as a bad derby just 2 clubs who are steeped in history, always a great friendship between our 2 legends Nat and Tom Finney, 2 proper football clubs who have achieved great things but have been shafted by the shift towards local fans deciding to seek glory by supporting the big 4 NW clubs, regarding comments about Wigan being our big derby get to fuck its only their inbred mob of 50 hoolies who have created a hatred, there is no historical rivalry and i dont even regard Wigan as a proper football club.

I think they are a football club,  just a 4th Division One.Wigan are no bigger than Rochdale or Stockport but are currently way above their status thanks to Dave Whelan's money. He's a real  benefactor rather than this made up one some people thought Eddie Davies was.Ours must be the only benefactor in the history of football  up in court for not paying the club's tax bill.

A comment Paul Rowley made on GMR the other week during the SHeff Utd v Wigan match made me laugh "These are arguably the biggest two clubs in the division." Yeah right. In my opinion DAve Whelan could buy them the Champions League title to add to the FA Cup he bought them and they still aren't as big as Blackpool, Barnsley or Bradford in that league

I live in Leyland and don't know any Preston fans.

Those I know that do go tend to support United or Liverpool, and Preston as a second team.

I hope our club never become so small time.

The genuine Preston fans I have spoken to seen a decent bunch and not too dissimilar to ourselves...looking forward to it tomorrow.

Also, I don't think we have a rivalry with Man United, I just fucking hate them. I think that goes for a lot of Bolton fans.

Rather that than the waving of half and half scarves like Preston fans.

Got a few BWFC mates coming in from Manc for the game, is the station at the Macron open again? I remember earlier in the year it was shut wasnt it?

This is your brother isn't it?

have you got Gonk on ignore?

I love the fact we have our own exsistance like that. I remember a bloke on radio Preston fan flying back from SA for game said he had waited years for it. The presenter said it was an extra special day. He said yes I'm a dmb as well:(

I have nothing against Preston either. A couple of mates support them and so we have banter but there is no rivalry as such.

Nice touch for the 33, it is a damn shame I can't go to experience this match as I think the atmosphere will be good for a change.

The gimps waving half & half scarves on TV when we played United aren't Preston fans. They're obviously just football fan boys from the local area, on the game to gawp at the famous pansies that play for Man U.

Don't kid yourself into believing that everyone in the home end whenever you lot played them, were there to support Bolton.

Yes it's open but my experience following the burnley game has me convinced a space hopper would be quicker

I live in Preston now - I see a lot of preston/man utd fans and preston/Liverpool fans.

All very strange

When I was working there was a Polish cleaner who liked to chat. She said one of the best things about England was the football. I asked her who she followed and she said ManU and Liverpool. I was lost for words.

There used to be a MUFC shop just off Friargate.

Haha cheers. I'll be driving anyway so doesn't affect me. I'll pass the message on.

I've always seen Preston as similar to Rochdale, Oldham etc a local side but with no real rivalry to speak of

I don't doubt that at all.

I think you've missed the point.

Preston are a second/local team to many who support Man Utd or Liverpool as a first team.

Pretty embarrassing and I'd hate my club to come to that.

I like to think we're superior to that though ;)

It's the same in Bolton. In fact, it's probably worse.

You'll struggle to find a town in England in which the local side are the majority supported team.

Don't know whether you're on a hilarious wind up, or you've been sniffing bins, but your point isn't as thought provoking as you probably imagined it.

is the fanzone home fans only?

Touchy

Lennons just been on SSN but I was on a conference call and it was on mute.

Anyone got a clue what was said?

"Individual mistakes cost us again and we just couldn't put the ball in the net.

We played well but once again get nothing for our efforts".

On no sorry, that will be 2mrr after the game.

????

Sniffing bins
