PrestonCha Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) As a side note... In remembrance of the 33 who lost their lives in the Bolton disaster, we'll be removing our bowler hats to the chant of "hats of to the 33" on the 33rd minute. A hell of a lot of things in football nowadays are cheesy as fuck, but I think this is a nice touch. The game will mean a lot for both sets of supporters. Edited March 10, 2016 by PrestonCha Quote
PrestonCha Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Like your good self then? That's not very nice. Quote

That is a nice touch and I'm sure it will be appreciated in the manner in which it's intended. As for your travelling support, I'd expect you to bring thousands. You're only a hop down the M61 or a short train ride away. We're one of the most accessible grounds you'll come to this season and one you've not been to for almost 16yrs. It's a new ground to a lot of your fans. Oh, and maximising revenue/income? Aye, you're right. If we were any good at that over the last few years, we might not be in the shite we're in. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 2,000 tickets at £28 + food and drink sales etc -V- the wages of an extra 200 coppers and stewards for a couple of hours. It's a no brainer. Would expect it would involve another superintendent and police unit so probably isn't quite worth it. Blackburn coming to us was a similar situation. Fair play for the hats off thing btw, I'm sure it'll be appreciated. Quote
Ani Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 reet the lad has come on here, made decent points and pointed out the respect they are paying , seems fine by me. Quote
Smiley Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 After a ticket if any knocking about for Saturday. Going for 4-0. Oghani hat-trick. Quote

Ani Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Fook me! You'll all be wearing half & half scarves next! if I come over via M66 to avoid the M62 on Saturday and him and his lot are blocking the M61 coming south I will be out of the car windmilling do not worry there, but until then he seems fine. Rembrandt Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Can't make it; family stuff. So probably 2-0. 18,168 Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 For the Preston nobber.Try checking your own club website. Your allocation is 3,759. No way would you have sold another 2000. You struggle to get 10,000 of your own at home. Quote
burndenpaddock Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Nice touch by the Preston fans if that's what they are planning to do. Can't think of many of our local rivals that would consider doing something similar. Fair play to them. And let them have their moment in the sun, they are still sore about when we beat them to the premiership and when SJM relegated them in 93 (?). Quote

You struggle to get 10,000 of your own at home. From PNE Twitter on 19th Feb. "We have 100 of our original 3,779 #gentryday allocation left; but have been allocated an extra 507 tickets in the lower tier at Bolton. Allocation now 4,286, no more to come. Extras priced: adults £25, over 65 and U23s £18, U18s £10. For sale when initial allocation sold. Please note: We will not be able to swap upper tier tickets at Bolton for the new allocation of lower tier, when they are released for sale." We sold the lot out 3 weeks ago mate. The rest of your post is dumb as fuck. I'm not repeating myself all day ffs. Edited March 10, 2016 by PrestonCha Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 5-0 to the whites. Serious takeover bounce, with a boost of NL being unavailable because of a severe cock injury and a black eye. Quote
