Diddles would have done a better job than that - people on facebook saying they must be right because if fake someone will have gone to a lot of time and trouble to produce this - surely there is simple computer software available that will produce a set of fixtures

It was very common in those days to play the derby fixtures on Christmas Day with the return fixture on Boxing Day - not much travelling for the fans. That was in the days when fans counted.

No each club had set Saturday fixtures against 16 opponents, home and away, and were left to arrange the 6 matches with the other 3 clubs.

Wednesday played at Leicester on the opening day of the football season (Tuesday 1st September) and at Woolwich on Easter Monday, so none of their opponents realised how they were using the system. Most teams arranged back-to-back Christmas Day/Boxing Day, as Wednesday did with Sheffield United.
