Looks like Diddles has knocked them up in his bedroom. shittest PDF file I've seen.

Diddles would have done a better job than that - people on facebook saying they must be right because if fake someone will have gone to a lot of time and trouble to produce this - surely there is simple computer software available that will produce a set of fixtures

We can confirm the 'fixture list' published online at the weekend is a hoax

At this stage we are still about 10 days away from being able to review a first draft of the 2016/17 fixture list (2/3)

It's worth noting a number of the fixtures in the hoax list would not be permitted on those dates for operational & policing reasons (3/3)

All midweek games barring Coventry are at home?

Lets just say that would be rather unusual.........

(Sheffield) Wednesday's fixtures for 1908-09 included:

19 Dec 08 HOME v Bury

25 Dec 08 HOME v Sheffield United

26 Dec 08 Away v SHEFFIELD United

28 Dec 08 HOME v Woolwich Arsenal

01 Jan 09 HOME v Leicester Fosse

02 Jan 09 HOME v Aston Villa.

No each club had set Saturday fixtures against 16 opponents, home and away, and were left to arrange the 6 matches with the other 3 clubs.

Wednesday played at Leicester on the opening day of the football season (Tuesday 1st September) and at Woolwich on Easter Monday, so none of their opponents realised how they were using the system. Most teams arranged back-to-back Christmas Day/Boxing Day, as Wednesday did with Sheffield United.
