New Party Leaders.

They need to drop all that bullshit. The flag waving, the song singing, calling each other 'comrade' etc and so on and so forth. Politics is 75% image these days and you could make the most impassioned and convincing speech in favour of socialism you like (and whether jezzer did that is a matter of debate) but as soon people see a man with a bloke from the wirral with a keffiyeh around his shoulders on stage, they're going to switch off.

They will have to go through their own "Michael Foot 83 experience" in 2020 before Labour can recover. There are too many in Momentum who were not born or old enough to remember that fiasco. Then there are others whose voices have been buried within the SWP, Respect, Social Labour, Workers Revolutionary Party et al. The latter have been welcomed back into Labour/Momentum fold with open arms by Corbyn and his cronies and they always shout the loudest.

Labour were most successful when they pretended to be Tories, maybe they should give that another try.

Clearly not. The Attlee government operated very differently to their opponents.

What they did have was a leader who had learned to live with repeated attempts to depose him without retaliating in a vindictive fashion.

Aaaah..........Mr. Foot of the Fabian Society. Coincidentally, amongst all of the TV coverage we seem to be getting down here, they had the current leader of the women's Fabian Society on commenting on the Conference and "Labour's shame" in its lack of female representation and failure to enforce a quota system.

I know there are rules but, by the fuchsia, this one would frighten a police horse.

A racist Home Secretary and a terrorist sympathising Attorney General in the shadow cabinet.

Brilliant.

Great move Jezza. That bought the Tories another 10 years.

All he needs now is Ricky Tomlinson as work and pensions secretary.

What the fucks going on at UKIP

Its a shambles, I've never been a fan anyway (clearly from my opinions on BREXIT) but they are still a major UK party

The favourite to replace Farage doesn't get his paperwork sorted in time so loses out to a lady who last all of 18 days in charge before resigning. The favourite puts his hat back in the ring only to be hospitalised following a punch up with a colleague???

Someone needs to tell UKIP to call it a day, fucking embarrassment

Folk who vote ukop won't be put off by a punch up that leaves a black bloke in hospital

I think If Theresa May achieves half of what she has outlined this past week many of the 3.9 million who voted for them in 2015 will go over to the Conservatives.

As an aside it seems bonkers they only have 1 seat whilst the SNP have 55 seats with only 1.45 million votes, yet Sturgeon struts about demanding this and that.

Corbyn on top of his game; suggesting a maximum earnings cap

Corbyn on top of his game; suggesting a maximum earnings cap

That really is a ridiculous thing to suggest. Did he put a figure on it?

See I like the idea in principle - just can't imagine in working in practice. I suppose it depends on the detail - how much is too much? I can't see how any individual could possible need more than a million a year while there are children living in poverty.

The obvious problem is people would just move abroad. Genius.

His union leader mates would be fucked then.

The argument being that we'd lose their tax contributions?

Need or want?

As an aside, kids being in "poverty", did anyone see those fat slappers on Jimmy & Jamie the other day. That was embarrassing. They'd spent more on tattoos and piercings than I do on food.
