On the up side, we'd all have clean feet, lose a bit of weight through no drinking and parking problems would become a thing of the past as we could just stop wherever we wanted. But something tells me that my flaxen haired beard would make me an object of ridicule down the mosque and I'd be selected for the shitty jobs, like hoovering all the spare prayer mats (the ones they keep out the back for when someone forgets theirs, like the spare PE kit box at school). The main issue is that Islamic culture goes against the grain in most countries... Young lads particular spend most of their time in Education or at the Mosque (learning), coupled with a copious amount of homework from both. They don't tend to go out much aside from sports, which young lads tend to hang with their mates.. (normally the ones from the Mosque that they already know and spend a lot of time with). They don't really integrate in schools much because its easier to become friends with people who are similar to you.. why, despite the world being 1/6th Muslim, is there a lack in sports, look at the premier league. Imagine 100 years ago when Christianity was huge, and Sunday, was church day.. What did people do on a Sunday? Would you randomly start talking to someone in the street? Kids do this, and in school because those social barriers aren't created will later on, but when those barriers are being created, they are kept in groups and not allowed to socialise the same way as most western places do, whilse John Bob and Dave are playing football on the park and drinking white lightning and being kids, Ali Abdul and Mo are reading Islamic scripture on top of their GCSE's which Mum and Dad are pushing (because they have come to this country for a better life). Some women are kept back from a young age, and some do families do embrace western cutlure and these kids do well, Look at how many successful Muslims there have been recently. I've been to houses where women are scared of being seen by a man.. Western Muslims and those coming to this country are welcome, there are good and a few bad, same as any other culture, but the Muslim world needs to push this integration, some are trying hard, others not at all and simply want to live the Islamic life but in an area where this goes against the style of living. Because its easy to claim hatred to a group of people that you simply don't know or understand. And this monster from Thursday night, has already been described as a loner.. Quote
