Loads on these in the geeks section.

They are ok for watching a bit of footy, but it ain't anywhere near  Sky sports

More hassle than they are worth for important stuff.

Missing half a big boxing match trying to find a working link or it going off after 70 mins of a big game is no fun at all.

Stick it on a telly in your kitchen and use it for stuff your not that arsed about, mnf etc.

Either go the whole way and get a proper dodgy box wired to your dish or just pay the dough and stick with sky.

As said above, there's a massive Android TV thread in the Geeky section.

Ultimately they're ace for movies and box sets. For sports they're a bit hit and miss... but better than nowt.

If you're looking at one for a replacement for SKY then don't bother, it'll do your head in. If you're after a straight replacement then get a Zgemma box.

It's decent enough for films, tv shows, etc but I wouldn't use it for sport

good for muck to

Pays for itself with films and box sets.

Still got Virgin, Sky Sports, Netflix, BT Sport etc

It's as well as not instead of.

I wouldn't be paying for Netflix if you have a kodi box.

Agree with the sport though.

Although, I'm watching the NFL now and it's been faultless.

Love my Zgemma box, I didn't actually believe it would work until I got one!

Pointless.

Everyone has a laptop or PC anyway.

What's currently the best app for sport/films on kodi?

probably exodus or salts for films and tv shows

sport is all about on the day

try zem tv

i've watched 2 nfl games on there which have been faultless

american stuff is usually a lot better than sky sports though

Keeps saying zem tv is broken in my repository.

What the fuck does that mean?

You need to realign your dish

It's the static flow.

Rub a ballon and stick it to your kodi box.

Did you ever get around to sorting this? I'm at a point where Sky is starting to cost too much again.

Yeah

Pretty happy with it

Sometimes a bit temperamental with the wi fi connection but does what I want it to regards film, tv and sport

For £40 it's worth it

Buffering?

No good for watching live tv

In what respect? Still best to get a Firestick and Kodi?

This was always going to happen, once people started advertising them on facebook.

They'll just go after the fuckers daft enough to advertise, (they deserve it to be honest) not the end use in his own home
