Game of two halves, all Grimsby for most of that second half, Howard made two great saves and catched well.

Said to papa Spencer before the game i'd be happy with a shitty 1-0 to get next to the next round.

And that's what we got.

Passing was poor throughout the side and again no bugger anywhere near Proctor to get the 2nd ball.

But we won so can't get to hacked off.

Could have been 2/3 up first half. Fair play to Grimsby second half.

Quietest home crowd ever, Grimsby fans were loud though

First half we could've been out of sight.

 

Second half they were the better team.

Bit of a Jekyll and Hyde performance from us that game. We totally dominated the first half and I reckon if we'd scored a second, the flood gates would have opened.

 

Not sure why we played so deep in the second half? Grimsby were very unlucky to have come away from this game with a defeat.

 

A win is a win though and it would be great to get to the 3rd round and draw a decent Prem club away. (how times have changed)
