Turned right on to Stock Road and he was coming right at me up the wrong side of the dual carriageway with half a dozen cop cars chasing him up the correct side of the road. Has to swerve to avoid the mad git. Must have been doing well over 100kmh. WIll be surprised if he's not one of the brothers. I reckon he'd have copped a right kicking in the back of the Police van. "All injuries happened during the collision whist stopping the vehicle your honour".
November 4, 20169 yr That's not a police chase - THIS is a police chase. Glad you're safe and well. It's a good job your Lambretta is so maneuverable! :-)
November 4, 20169 yr Author I must have been shaken (not stirred) TMGJ The most criminal of our indigenous friends call themselves 'the brothers', especially amongst some of the larger clans who consistently offend. Lovely lads On my Lambretta on a working day, Kent? No such luck. Was in my Holden Cruze Turbo provided by my employer. The offender would have been gone 10 minutes before I got there on the Lamby. Lovely day today, I would have been taking my time cruising and checking out my threads in the shop window reflections. Pantherellas on display and all that

November 4, 20169 yr And of course checking you had an adequate supply of patriotic beach towels, whilst trying to balance a blancmange and avoiding any grumpy looking Scottish tennis players. Point of order. It was a trifle.
November 4, 20169 yr Oz bobbies have released an image of the perps: Guy Pearce has had a successful Hollywood career but to a generation he is known as "Mike from Neighbours".
November 4, 20169 yr Look like a fcuking daewoo To be fair I think they share manufacturing with some Daewoo's. They are basically tinnier Vauxhalls with worse styling - not got the Latin flair have the aussies. Not that I can imagine Bolty gives a shiny shite if it is a company car anyway. November 4, 20169 yr Bolty is a traitor Not so long ago he'd have been thrown in the Tower for not driving an Aston Martin, or deported to, er, Australia. He's turned his back on Mother England and being made to drive around a shitty desert in a Korean tin is about right.
November 5, 20169 yr Author And of course checking you had an adequate supply of patriotic beach towels, whilst trying to balance a blancmange and avoiding any grumpy looking Scottish tennis players. Of course!
November 5, 20169 yr Author He's even got an Aussie car : : Jesus H - is there an IQ test to be a Moderator on here. Lives in Australia, works for an Australian company, is given an Australian company car. Go figure. FFS.
November 5, 20169 yr Author Holden Cruze Turbo sounds a bit bogan to me Bolty Still dirty I had to trade in the V8 SS Commodore 5,7 litre. Loved that fucking thing. Still, there are rules on swapping them after 100,000kms and this was the best of a bad lot of the choices made available to me (top of the range with leather interior etc. - not bad for absolutely free motoring I suppose). Not sure but aren't these an American GM jobbie re-badged for Australia? Either way, it's free so happy days.
