Good win an great day out. Armoury in Stockport at lunchtime and a few leisurely beers en route.

Very good first half, second half very ordinary and seemed to sit back.

Just back.......very similar to the Coventry game with us comfortable 1st half but under loads of pressure 2nd half. Without Wheater we don't look as strong defensively & going forward we couldn't keep hold of the ball - quite nervewracking at the end & where the fuck did he get 5 mins e/t ?

 

Clough was very good 1st half but faded later so Beavers gets MOM for holding us together.

 

But it's another clean sheet & another 3 points. Ace  EIEIEIO.

Who's played plenty of times since the Oxford game.

In fact him and Derek were an outstanding partnership

He's hasn't though has he, was dropped and got back when spearing got injured. As a general rule we've achieved better results when he's not played.
