  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Whatsisname with the thick glasses on was funny, but I just found the whole thing a bit hard work.

Thought the second season of Afterlife was poor. Seemed like he was running out of ideas and that therapist character was a shocker.

See I can sympathise with this. The Office was obviously brilliant. Extras was also very good. Loved the Xfm podcast when they came out. Derek was let down by Gervais playing the main character, and it seemed a bit weak overall. ike he got bored of it.

Afterlife's second series was poor, should have left it as one series - as yes Dennis Pennis was shocking.

Not too keen on his stand up lecture things either, or his Hollywood films - that invention of lying didn't make any sense at all. But can't deny his a great writer, if not a little mawkish, and his animal thing is a little irritating.

Paul Kaye has been shit in everything I've seen him in.

He was ok in Game of Thrones if you like that sort of thing.

The Mike Strutter character had some funny moments. There's a compilation on YouTube somewhere that always cracks me up.

Detectorists was very underrated imo .

I watched it again at the start of the first lockdown found it very calming .

Watched all 3 series of detectorists over the last couple of weeks. Thought it was great.

As an aside, I can't work out what changed about her but Crooks Mrs looked miles hotter in the 3rd series than the previous 2.

Another 10/10 here for Detectorists.

Detectorists is great, as is Wurzel Gummidge that he wrote as well.

Johnny Flynn is great, for me his best album is his first one with The Sussex Wit called A Larum

He's also a really good actor, and has a beautiful wife. Some fellas get all the luck.
