Rumours pre-season in Stockport that we were going to swap him for Rooney, so may be an extension of that...

Could be although there's nothing in the rumours suggesting a player swap and even then it'd still be a shock and a gamble.

I know he has his doubters and has copped for some online grief but Evatt clearly trusts and rates him. Rumour mill now in overdrive.
