Of course. .....another worldbeater who was held back by Parkinson. Strangely, none of them were much good before they joined us & none of them are much good after they leave us, but that's probably PP's fault as well.

June 26, 20197 yr Cos they're cheap gambles A fair bit cheaper than Wyke and Garner, no doubt Anyway, just read iles article and it seems it was always intended FG would pay his wages until January Cant remember ever reading that before Edited June 26, 20197 yr by Casino

The article also says that Iles doesn't know if the Transfer Restrictions that had been applied prevented the fee even being paid in the first place! Matthews and O'Neil's signings went on to be completed once the restrictions were lifted don't forget Also the fact that FG were always going to pay his wages until the January wages make's Vince statement about "they haven't been paying his wages for the last four months, we have" a bit duplicitous to say the least as that was what was agreed to in the first place!!! (No mention as to where the No Ken Do profits went to either in his article). Best of luck to Doidge probably he's better away from both clubs.

So I’d say that’s a fair assesment.

I don't get this idea though that if a player turns out to be bobbins then it's either all we could afford or a Ken signing. Parky identified Proctor and Darby as players from his previous club he thought could do a job. He saw something in Chris Taylor. He couldn't find a way to get the team to play to ALFs strengths, the only natural finisher in the squad or a way to get Ozthumer in the starting line up. When he was told he had some money he 'spent' it on Doidge. Not good enough imo

June 26, 20197 yr Perhaps... After a year or so with Parkinson they’ve had whatever talent they had completely trained out of them. so much so they end up going to Halifax, forest green or Hibs or somewhere below our level.

If anyone doesn't agree then they have never watched him during the half time kick-around that the subs have. He's also the only player, be it professional or amateur, when during a game, after repeated attempts to get a ball under control, just give up and fall on the ball so he can trap it with his stomach.

For a few others I’d argue: lambert vardy Klose
