He was our best attacking player by far, and without him we looked utterly toothless. I think he has been a passenger for most of this season, but the ones before he was always, in my opinion, one of our better players.

That being said I do think there is a reason he's only really had a sustained period of time in our team, when compared to ones he has been at before. I don't think he will like not being the "main man" at forest, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I think we would have got more out of him had we been able to put a side out that could even start to compete

You’d struggle to get a tune out of some of the best in the world had they been put into our team with that lot around them

Still, we should have pissed the championship, top half at least.

Academy graduate Jack Earing gone to Halifax.

Don't know if he was any good, but his lack of progress here & the fact he's gone down to the National League suggest he wasn't going to make it.

this is true... people seem to think kids are the saviour. and yes some have done really well, but they are long way short of even league one football.

it still amazes me how so many people think being a footballer is a piece of piss.

every month there are stories of young lads thinking they have made it at 16, 18, 20 and then being binned off.

Christian Doidge signs a 3 year deal with Hibs. I'm glad he's got himself a decent move after being fucked about by Ken

Personally I couldn't give a shiny one, but if you think Hibs is a good move crack on.

I couldn't give two fucks about him.

he'll either die on his arse in the SPL or prove that it's a really shit league.

Bogwank still goalie at Hibs? If so he will need to score a few

No, his loan ran out but he barely played anyway as he was having a recurring concussion problem (might explain a few things) and Marciano was playing well.

Interesting to note the fee for Doidge at £250k is a fraction of what we were supposed to pay. If he has a decent side around him that can do all of his work outside of the penalty area then he might do alright, but we weren’t able to do that for ALF never mind a player stepping up two levels.

Doidge was utter wank. Relieved we're not stuck with him.

Quite. Trying to judge goalscorers in out team was like assessing Traff's tree climbing fish.

Cheers for that. Just seen him a couple of times on highlight shows and thought he was Hibs goalie. On sky hes listed as officially being released by Liverpool this summer.
