Matthew1234 Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 He was our best attacking player by far, and without him we looked utterly toothless. I think he has been a passenger for most of this season, but the ones before he was always, in my opinion, one of our better players. That being said I do think there is a reason he's only really had a sustained period of time in our team, when compared to ones he has been at before. I don't think he will like not being the "main man" at forest, so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Quote
barrycowdrill Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 He’ll be on the bench at Forest. That’ll be the only bit of consistency in him Quote

birch-chorley Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 (edited) I think we would have got more out of him had we been able to put a side out that could even start to compete You’d struggle to get a tune out of some of the best in the world had they been put into our team with that lot around them Edited June 24, 2019 by birch-chorley Quote

bolton va va Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Academy graduate Jack Earing gone to Halifax. Don't know if he was any good, but his lack of progress here & the fact he's gone down to the National League suggest he wasn't going to make it. Quote

Take Hunt Off Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 Ameobi a big loss in league 1 .Do you honestly think we will bring anyone better in? Chris Taylor type probably. Quote

snowball Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Bogwank still goalie at Hibs? If so he will need to score a few Quote
tomski Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Was bummed royally by king ken. I hope it all works out for him and we rue him as the one that got away. Quote

Interesting to note the fee for Doidge at £250k is a fraction of what we were supposed to pay. If he has a decent side around him that can do all of his work outside of the penalty area then he might do alright, but we weren’t able to do that for ALF never mind a player stepping up two levels. Cheers for that. Just seen him a couple of times on highlight shows and thought he was Hibs goalie. On sky hes listed as officially being released by Liverpool this summer. Quote
