FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

No must win games n all that.

the burton game was the end of the road my little bury chum.

Not time to give up yet.

I reckon January will tell us a lot though.

So what we saying 46 keep you up

No chance

Unlucky with injuries yes but bottom line defending is not improving

If only Hobbs could have stayed fit I think him and Wright would have a solid partnership by now.

Aye I don’t mind Hobbs

he signed for the full season hasn’t he?

I think so yes , mind you he hardly played in 2 years at Forest when the injuries started.

You dont mind Hobbs but think Wheater would be a risk? I know who i think will be available to play more games this season and next based on last 10 seasons

I'd take Wheater on loan and send Wright back, I suppose.

Never said wheater would be a risk

I just don’t want to go back to past players

but I’d make an exception on big Gaz

You loved Madine

Ergo it makes sense you like Hobbs

We would probably need about 50 points to give us a chance of staying up this season, we would need to get an average of about 2 points per game until the end of the season.

Just had a look 3rd from bottom last 3 seasons

44,47 & 47 relegated

Aim for 40

And we would have a great chance

It's not going to be easy but good recruitment and luck with injuries and we have a chance

We cobbled together a team in a day, I'm seeing how we get on with a couple of weeks to sort it

We'd have to get double the amount of points in the second half of the season that we've got in the first half to be anywhere near.

But we might have a better squad with which to do it.

So say we need the lowest total to stay up.

37 more points from 23 games

That’s got to be 11 wins at least

Not happening

and that’s before any further points deduction

We have 18 in 15 under Hill

Even repeating just 18 in the next 15 would see us still in the game

8 games to get 16 points would have us on 41 I think

It really isn't far fetched that we stay up

The unknowns are transfer success, injuries and further points deductions but we need to crack on

It’s not happening

unless he gets lucky with some loans but I’m not convinced on his approach to defending, the lad who posted hills goals conceded at Rochdale didn’t make good reading

2 less games this season

Could well be less than 44

Would have Big Dave back in a flash

Miles better than Wright/Earl/Hobbs/Earl

And just think of the piss up in Fanny’s when we are Div 4 Champs 😁

Fair point that

I just don’t think we will have it in us sadly. We can’t have a spectacular January for obvious reasons and I think we’ll always have a drinker in us

Happy to be proven wrong of course

You may well be right

I just think it's miles easier going forward if we can stay up this year and I'll be gutted if we don't try

And I'm not trying to set Hill up for a fall

I'm not asking much

If my sums are right, it's 34 needed from 23 then we see where we are

1.5 per game

Win at home, lose away....ish

I do fear a further points penalty, after which all bets are off, however I'd expect we have made it clear to the league that overturning the decision of their independent commission will see court action taken against them, so who knows

Sure it's 18 from 16 under KH not 15 but either way anything is possible until it isn't, problem for me is I don't think Hill is good enough to do it going off his past record.

A glorious failure might be the best thing all round. Not often teams go in to a lower division with a whole load of momentum behind them.

It might've gone sour at Rochdale but he has nowt to be ashamed of there

Even under embargo here, I'd think he's more power in the markets
