I didn’t say they were. But they will be getting a contribution off Sunderland and they will be paying probably 5k minimum of it to him which is 2.5x more than we can.

I'm struggling to see where he would improve the Shrewsbury side that we played recently.  It just shows you can get a move on your past "name" and "career record" rather than current ability.  Madine's in the same category, nobody's signing him based on the last 2 years or 3 years performances.

I think in reality it had everything to do with Joe Royle's influence. But what a shitter it is that they get the benefit from us giving him a chance.
