Just because society has changed (and mainly for the worst) doesn't mean it suddenly isn't funny.

 

I do accept it isn't as relevant in today's world of "political correctness overload".

My favorite from when I was a kid was Dave Allen, he was quality. I love Blackadder too.

Went to watch Jason Manford a couple of years back, he was actually very funny.

Andy Parsons and Russell Howard are stealing a living. David Mitchell is funny though.

Remember buying Poetic Off-Licence after just picking it up in a bookshop when in London. I was gutted when i found out i'd discovered him too late to see him perform live. Exhausted everything on Youtube, it's all brilliant. Proper talent.

The Fosters 'Afternoon Delights' shorts Vic and Bob did almost as a throwaway are funnier that most comedians finest moments. Dr Shakamoto and Mostly Haunted are genius. As are the rock and rollers doing 50's dancing in the precinct and talking about fried chicken.

I always thought that It was strange Bernard Manning had such a racist, anti Semitic act when he himself had a piggy little Jewish face. Which I suppose is a racist and anti Semitic thing to say.
