It's where you draw the line, red shirts wouldn't bother me feeder club to anyone would and so would renaming us United, the 2 latter would finish me off for good. The question to Izza was really a poison chalice.

Statement from the Supporters trust.

 

Following our meeting with the club last Wednesday, the issue of the removal of the asset of community value (ACV) listing has been made public by the club. We have resolved to take various opinions from Bolton Council and Supporters Direct. Once we have received the input requested we will revert to members further at that point.

Anyone who can't see the massive agenda of the Trust must be blind. Izza the worst possible person to be involved at all let alone Chairman.

 

We should do everything in our power to ensure this lot are discredited.

Regarding the AVC & the threat of a third party sale as the Coventry scenario , hasn't Eddie Davies left 15 million of debt in the club so as to thwart or at least derail any such a move ?

 

If so the AVC is surely irrelevant ?

Have a word with them. They don't believe in clubs being run as businesses. They don't believe in rich owners. They see clubs as some sort of pseudo public sector organisations. Run by the fans. On a shoestring. They aren't interested in success. They just want 'decision by fan committee'.

 

Will be a disaster. They should be looking to support Ken in what he's trying to do. But they never ever will. Or any other rich private owner.

To continually try and discredit the Owners, stir loads of shit and get nuggets from all over Twitter and FB to pay money and sign up for some kind of revolution to overthrow the regime when in reality nobody has a pot to piss in?

As far as I can tell Ken has hidden from nothing.

He's said from day 1 that things will be tough and that the finances won't make pretty reading.

Then he's had all the shit Holdsworth and Blumarble have thrown the clubs way.

 

He's been saying for months that until the clusterfuck that is the DH and Blumarble situation is sorted the club will be scraping by.

Good point on Holdsworth. Maybe the trust should arrenpr to arrange to meet with Holdsworth.

I'm not sure where the Trust have continually tried to discredit KA can you show me where? How do you know that these nuggets on twitter are speaking on behalf of the Trust, trying to get info from KA to share with the fans is part of the Trusts responsibility as is trying to safeguard the club and its assets for the fans. We have all seen what can happen to clubs if owners are allowed to do as they please if they are not held to account.

 

It's a very unpopular job but in my view it is extremely important that some fans are prepared to take the flak to help protect the club they support.

 

I will end by saying I'm 100% behind KA in his attempts to sort the club out and take it forward however not without having the checks and balances of the Trust casting an eye over what he is doing.
