From these 2 spurious comments you deduct that there is an agenda. Fuck me is that the best you lot can come up with. ????

Exactly.

We have the chairman releasing his daily diary and his son tweeting 300 times a day about activity and rumours around club. He's like clubcall on high class cocaine.

We could have any more info. The wallies from the ST and twitter just refute it and say it's all lies.

Marc Iles being prime example. Instead of waiting to hear from KA and grasping the full facts he can't wait to print negative stories that have no basis. He's the ST's number 1 bum chum.

....and like has been said before by me and many others, the ST chose not to get involved with the public Q&A sessions. That was their call. They chose not to report any decent turn of events.

I just don't know what their role is meant to be.

My problem still is who are these people? Who knows them?

Izza, I do know someone who knows him but not from football (so not Gudni!). I don't remember him at Crvena Zvezda away. And he has a face you'd remember.

Smith has a track record for wanting to exert his own influence on the club, paying good money to set up a forum, attempted take over of the BWSA, now this.

Tetlow, not known as a fan of BWFC by people who've encountered her over the years?

I'll continue to insist that the ST should be parked. In the meantime we have a perfectly good SA. Splitters!

Iles clearly backed the wrong horse from the off, but like a seasoned gambler, he's still relentlessly backing it. Fuck knows why, as we all know for all the bluff and bluster the ST is going nowhere. I'm actually surprised that Iles hasn't been banned from the stadium, if I was KA, I would seriously be considering it

Exactly.

Lets be clear here I am a K.A. fan and I am enjoying what he has done up to present and wish him the best in the future as long as it is in the best interest of BWFC. That does not mean that Ken tells the full story and that he should be trusted unconditionally.

Therefore the trust have a very important role monitoring events and to trying to make sure whatever is going on is in the best interest of BWFC if that means upsetting folk so be it.

As for Carlos suggestion I really do not think parking the Trust is a good idea despite initially feeling that might be best. The new co-opted board members have no previous connections with the original board members they are good fellas and BWFC to the core, there is no agenda from what I have seen other than trying to protect the future of our club. If I ever felt there was an agenda going on I would not want to be any part of that.

What events have the ST ever monitored - serious question.

The Football League are involved with all the clubs financial issues - and told the ST to keep their nose out when they went running to them to say how badly Anderson was doing in this respect.

The players are the ones that know if they get paid on time or not and get the Professional Footballers Association involved when they haven't.

All proposed court actions against the club by the likes of HMCR and the clubs caterers have come to nothing.

So from my view point the ST have only ever been reactionary AFTER the events and never actually monitored anything going on in real time.

The ST has aligned itself to Holdsworth and maybe for a time they did have some original insight into what was going on but it seems they've gone all-in and backed the loser in a two horse race and have been anti-Anderson ever since - they've certainly acted that way in the general opinion of many and not just me.

I still can't get my head around why anyone believes they have a right to get involved in someone's private business simply because they purchase their product?  BWFC is a privately owned multi-million pound business in the leisure and entertainments section and in that sense is no different from say a large restaurant chain or a cinema company.

No one in their right minds who simply buys a pizza or goes to see the latest blockbuster would demand the right to monitor and seek board representation at say Pizza Express or Odeon Cinemas, so why do they feel they should demand a say over their local football club?

As for the 'good fellas' of the ST, what exactly do anyone know of them apart from they support the same club as you or I?

It certainly doesn't mean they are the people you would just simply hand over your bank account details and your PIN number too would it!

I'm not suggesting they are bad people in anyway but for instance who has had a different view of the previous chairman's credibility once his string of businesses failures were made public?

Simply supporting the same club as you doesn't mean that people think, act and behave in the same way as you do, does it?

What exactly has the ST actually achieved?

They organised the 'Legend's'' game and they got an ACV against the ground (which even the ST themselves presumably will be seeking the view of its members to see if it should be revoked).

They haven't got any close association with the club to do anything but monitor it EXTERNALLY and thus be REACTIONARY to ongoing events - just like the rest of us.

The ST's Board is still to this day yet to have a single person elected by its membership, and we know practically nothing at all about them other than they all must be 'good fellas' because they support the same team as I do.

Why then don't they open up their own business accounts to be monitored by the rest of us Wanderers fans?  Will they let some random Bolton follower or two have a place on their boards?  How come Anderson "doesn't tell the full story and that he should be (not) be trusted unconditionally" whilst the ST board do and presumably should?

The ST is not fit for the purpose it was intended for in my opinion and that is to be the final backstop of a club that as run out of money and assets.

The ST should be 'parked' until that day - if it ever comes.

It is not there to tell the owners how to run their million pound organisation.

That is one opinion I have viewed my opinion folk can decide what stance they wish happy for folk to be pro or anti trust that is their choice. We will agree to disagree.

I'm still waiting for this supposed agenda.

Look you are a proper fan so your involvement can only be a good thing. Just be warned you are dealing with a bunch of proper hardcore leftists who want the club to be run like a co-operative. Their mates are all over Twitter balooning on. They are clever and do it indirectly.

Read tweets from that breezeblock character. Mike Smith's pal....

184 votes to 7 says enough

Read tweets from that breezeblock character. Mike Smith's pal....

Now he is a fucking loon...

My issue with the new people on the ST board, apart from the fact that they haven't been elected on is the way in which they are presented. The firs (only) thing we are told is they are a director of so and so company. Well I for one want to know why they want to be involved, are they BWFC through and through? There are fucking loads of people who "support" us yet no one has ever seen or heard from them, especially when times are hard. I want their credentials as a BWFC fan. Any fucker can be a director of a small company, it means nada.

I think it would be a good idea for the co-opted members to introduce themselves first and foremost as fans like you say who gives a fuck what they do for a living.

The one and only thing the Supporters Trust is useful for... being a talking point through a boring few months without football

I would not go that far. :)

Wait, hang on, they're also good at telling us whose birthday it is.

The one and only thing the Supporters Trust is useful for... being a talking point through a boring few months without football

Best time of the year. Fuck football for a few months. Get some sun, have a few barbecues and get relaxed and stress free ready for a 9 month roller coaster ride.

I would ban the fucker

I think it's time the ST asked their members another survey, I think the answers may have changed given how well Sweaty is doing & how well he communicates with the entire fan base.

This may also change their 'mandate' a little & might reign them in a little

I think it means the ST and KA haters will think they've got one over the club and there's nowt they can do to help even if they wanted to

That's how I read it anyway

Fell asleep twice reading that - in laymens terms what the hell does that mean

Means regardless of where you stand, things are getting messy

As I understand it an ACV does have an impact on borrowing against assets...i.e. Mortgaging

Which is presumably what Ken is wanting to do.

One thin

Means regardless of where you stand, things are getting messy

One thing I dont understand about the trust is there is no mention of this on there web site -

No idea. They'll probably trot out the line about them doing this in their spare time so not always available to update the website.

Doubt they'll mention that they binned off the lad who was doing it all for free in his own spare time....
