No issues with your comments regarding the board, but how do they gain personally? The legalities of a trust mean no one can gain, my aim is for the trust to go from strength to strength so that it can help the club and also be in s position to have some input all for the betterment of BWFC. What's it take for you to wipe slate clean, get on board? As I know you want exactly what I dd for BWFC.

building their own profiles. they wont own the club ever so no point in me worrying about it. until the trust is wiped out and starts a fresh i don't think i will ever be able to trust them. they have been a sniping bunch when we needed to be one as a club. thats not good.

Building their own profile, what having an army of folk calling you a cunt that's hardly profile building.???? It seems to go with the territory if your trying to do something for the club, as your old pal Phil Gartside would testify if he was still with us. Anyhow you can't just wipe the trust and start again, you can vote on board members and whether folk are happy with the job and remove and replace them however someone else has to stand but you can't have input unless you join.

Do they, or will they be having annual elections, or is it now a closed shop?  - having said that, as you rightly point out, it would require people to stand, and let's be honest, rightly or wrongly, people would probably just rather slag off the incumbents rather than stand themselves and change from within

I'd think there would be yearly elections that's if anyone would volunteer, to then be slagged off by all and sundry just because you cared enough to try to improve the lot of fans and the club.

Doesn't a board of this type legally have to have elections, agms etc?

Part of the system of any organisation with paying members.

Building societies, PLCs, fishing clubs...

The people want to build themselves up. It may mean some of us call em cunts but to other bellends in the circles they mix it will leave them in good stead

They didn't have 140,000 pounds but people think they can raise several million if they did too, get the fuck out of here

They couldn't run a fucking bath

They certainly can't run a Twitter account. More bizarre (re)tweeting.

Why not get involved and give them some of your advise and knowledge, I know you have serious issues with the trust but I'm sure your advise and guidance would be welcome, and maybe you could also advise them on the content and at the same let a bit of steam off face to face as I did last week. ???? Happy to arrange a meeting and be present if required. And remember we all want what is best for BWFC.

I've given my advice (on here), that they need to stop wishing John Gope-Fenerpej and such like a happy birthday, stop retweeting the BN, BWFC and assorted fan sites and stick to ST business. The rest is just noise. Beyond that I'm not a PR man (and I'm not the only one).

I've got zero intestest in getting involved, I help out on here, anything else would be a conflict of interest IMO as I'm not giving up on WW or posting exactly what I think. Also I'm now no longer a member and have zero interest in meeting them, unless it's to witness the resignation of Messrs Bridge and Izza.

You'll be next on ignore if you don't tread carefully.

I normally do ignore him... only joking.????

When does the football start again ????

Glad I asked, ???? You can breathe now.????????

You'll be pleased to know that I have very little else to add! Sluggy has delivered a headshot on Bridge, the people have given their opinion, we await developments but I'm not holding my breath!

Things are changing and I hope it will for the better I'm sure that the Trust will be more representative of the members and will try to cooperate more with KA and the club in future and that's exactly how it should be in my opinion.

When they first started, Chris Peacock asked me to get involved doing the social media side of things on an ad hoc unofficial basis, until things were set up properly.

I did some bits and pieces for them, but they started wanting to compile a list of interested helpers, they decided they wanted to do it amongst themselves.

I know of several people who have offered help, but have been told not to bother, as everything "is already in hand".

It's a closed shop

It's a closed shop

If the door was reopened would you reconsider?

Go on mounts. Fill the void

Yes Mounts

Another vote for Mounts.

If the door was reopened would you reconsider?

Yes, if I felt there was a point to their existence.

This thread reminds me of the Star Wars prequels

Inevitable rise of an evil dictatorship?

This statement smells of bullshit, utter bollocks.

"The rules require at least 3 Board members will resign and stand for re-election, if they wish to."

Is this true? I haven't read this before.

"In accordance with these rules and due to a change in his personal circumstances, our Chairman Ian Bridge, has decided to step down now, instead of waiting until the election."

Is the change in personal circumstance that he's pissed everyone off or because his colourful past has been outted? It makes no sense to blame his resignation, if indeed he did actually resign, on these rules, out of the blue.

Anyway, one down, one to go... Which others are standing for re-election?
