Winding Up Orders

Last I heard, it was court tomorrow

ST and Lies reported 3, including Heathcotes mob

KA said that was old news, leaving 2

Now, I can see HMRC is definitely a club issue, but the other is Sport Shield

If we assume KA can deal with HMRC debt - I'd have been happier if he had sorted that one already, tbf- that 'just' leaves SS and blumarble

If the court agrees to wind up SS, do we know what that means and also the impact on BWFC

I'm not on there pal

I don't see it that way.

Simply looks like fair comment to me.

If the ST have an elected mandated approval from their membership about opposing the ACV removal then let them show it - otherwise it is just appearing to be a personal vendetta being held by those on the ST Board against him.

You simply can't purport to be acting as a public body representative of your members wishes if you haven't canvassed their opinion on the matter of removing the AVC.

It's not what you want that counts, it's what your members want that you represent and act on.

Note also the ST annual elections are now three months overdue (a quarter of a year already - only 9 months and reducing daily to the next one!)

From Anderson's statement today -

Reflecting on matters off the pitch, I have read the comments expressed by Daniel Izza, the chairman of the BWST, concerning the ACV which are of course disappointing, but not unexpected.

I have already expressed my views on this matter and won't be commenting any further at this time other than to say that l have received many expressions of support from Trust members and from what l have seen on social media, not all those involved in the Trust share Daniel’s opinions.

Hopefully, he consulted the members before submitting the application, although my experience to date has shown that this has not always been the case.

As it stands, l cannot see the club working in tandem and harmony with the Trust going forward, but we will continue to work with the Bolton Wanderers Supporters Association, who we have found to be far more supportive and helpful in trying to assist the club in its quest for financial stability and success on and off the field.

Here's a first I agree with a sluffy post.

Here's a first I agree with a sluffy post.

Well hopefully here is another you might agree with that I posted on Nuts earlier today -

Forgive me for perhaps being a bit school 'teacherish' (is there such a word?) but I think one clear distinction needs to be pointed out.

The difference between Ken Anderson/BWFC - and Daniel Izza/the ST is that Mr Anderson OWNS the club where as the ST is a public body who as such has an elected Board to represent it.

Therefore Ken Andersons voice IS BWFC's voice - and thus he can say whatever he wants to - that in effect is always going to be BWFC's position on things.

However the exact opposite is true of a public body like the ST, where it is the MEMBERS wishes that are represented by the Board - and not their own personal ones.

If the ST IS acting on the wishes of their membership majority - then fair enough - but seeing they've never had a voted on election and the half the current Board have already served 25% longer than the twelve months they were appointed for - then not only do I think they are acting outside of their authority but I also believe (under ultra vires) that any costs they incur whilst doing so they personally become liable for!

Tweet from Izza  replying to Iles tweet -

The ST will support the club.thesupporters and ST will outlast owners who come and go.The stadium is an important part of our community.

Well he's not wrong but he's still not right.

Hes right in the fact that the supporters will out last who every owns the club, not so much for the ST. And how is the stadium an important part of the community when most of the community does not give 2 fucks about the club and therefore the stadium

He can't say that the ST will outlast the owners, that's speculation.

Our community. I'm from Tonge Moor and nothing to do with some snotty cunt who thinks he's better than the rest of us.

Why does the club have to own the stadium? Given our financial situation, it may be necessary not to. Man City don't own theirs do they? And they seem ok.

Coventry don't own their ground either.

Maybe because the guy that owns City as more money then God, and the that guy that owns us as a few penny's, so therefore doesn't require any bank loans to help keep the club afloat ... just a guess

I'm gonna get cocained off my tits tonight and DM Daniel Izza bolton hoolie vids.

Riddle me this -

If Anderson wants to sell the ground (it might not be the ground at all, it could be the hotel perhaps) and the ST want to own it so badly (why else would they get an ACV slapped on it, that basically gives them an opportunity to raise funds for 6 months to buy it?) then why don't they do a deal?

Is it because the ST could never hope to raise all those millions and all they want to do is put Anderson's (and thus the clubs) position into greater financial jeopardy?

If Anderson fails then its Administration, points deducted and...

...almost certainly the sale of some of the clubs assets (covered by the ACV) the by Administrator to get the club back in a position to trade again.

So what really has the ST gained - Anderson could easily be back in charge after Administration - the assets sold irrespective of the ACV - but the club now docked points and having costing it the substantial Administration fees?

The chance of the ST raising the funds are 2 fold , slim and non-existent

Lots of businesses raise funds via sale and leasebacks.

I am disappointed in the ST and only joined when it appeared that they were the only show in town.

When the Academy was about to be downgraded to a Status 3, I e-mailed the Trust saying that I would chip in as part of a scheme to offer funds to prevent this.

I got a snotty e-mail back saying the time was not right blah, blah, blah.

So the Trust is basically all talk and no action.

The usual suspects are ballooning about on twitter. Anderson is an 'asset stripper' apparently. Clearly they don't understand what an asset stripper is.

The trust is run and influenced by people who don't like rich folk, don't like our football club being privately owned and don't like Ken Anderson. Every single thing the trust does is an attempt to undermine Ken and the club. I suggest every trust member who is unhappy, immediately emails and asks for their membership to be revoked. Ideally making such a move public knowledge too. The only way we can have an effective trust is if every single person involved in setting up and running it thus far, is not involved in any way at all in the future.
