Winding Up Orders

Last I heard, it was court tomorrow

ST and Lies reported 3, including Heathcotes mob

KA said that was old news, leaving 2

Now, I can see HMRC is definitely a club issue, but the other is Sport Shield

If we assume KA can deal with HMRC debt - I'd have been happier if he had sorted that one already, tbf- that 'just' leaves SS and blumarble

If the court agrees to wind up SS, do we know what that means and also the impact on BWFC

  • The harsh reality is that name of the club has been dragged through the dirt in last few years. Massive debts, relegation, players not being paid etc etc.   Go back to when KA was first linked he w

I've no idea what that means, but I'll pass the feedback on

To put it into laymans' terms - Whoever had control of the recording device made it so that one persons' voice was channelled through the left earphone/speaker and the other persons' voice through the right. This does not make for comfortable listening.

I'm fully behind another vote and if the membership votes for keeping the ACV in place then the trust should press on. However by not having another vote it snacks of them in charge thinking they know best.

Mounts given your reasoned support of the trust because of your active dialogue, can you see how the trust comes across in the negative and appear to be going against everything a trust should ideally be? They are coming across as not a representation of the supporters (without a vote) but a vehicle for those in charge to air their grievances/views with a little more weight than they would previously had.

I can absolutely see that and it's a fair point cant and won't even try to argue a case against your view.

Ah OK, thanks - Dan is the recording guy (and host), so I'll let him know that it's causing problems. Audio aside, what did you make of the content

Another vote? Didn't think there'd been any votes for anything at all ever

Rubbish.

They had a show of hands on the initial meeting, where they asked those that had turned up to create a trust, whether a trust should be setup or not. A clear mandate to create a ACV if I ever saw one.

I complained by e-mail o 29 June that they were not keeping me informed.

Got a reply asking for a phone number, which I supplied.

Still waiting for a call.

they've just sold it to tele-marketers to earn some money to buy the club

I'll give you some feedback Kane

I've downloaded a few of the podcasts as it's always worth listening to what people outside WWays have to say about BWFC

I'll agree with Cheese. The audio is terrible so unless you are an LOV fanatic desperate to hear what they have to say it's a really difficult listen. I've tended to give up half way through due to the volume being so variable. Therefore it's hard to comment on the content

I don't know what recording software he uses, but I do know that most participants use Skype, with a pop filter microphone to avoid any interference. Will have a word and see what I can do, appreciate you taking the time to listen and feed back.

Ban them on what grounds?

Their own safety if they carry on ????????????

Come on now

Banning someone because they have a different view? Come on now it's not North Korea.

A vote of no confidence by the ST membership yes... Come on sluffy - setup a Survey Monkey as it seems this is the route to making things a mandate. I am sure Lee & Iles will retweet to get the maximum fan coverage (alongside wways & banter)

Come on now

????

Put more into the club by buying that trackie than 'johnny nob head' who stopped going under Megson to watch the game in the fFlying Flute on dodgy tele and probably still thinks Gartside is to blame for us not buying anyone decent in the summer transfer window.

Doubt he paid for it

We'll probs. never know if he paid nowt or even cost, but at least he's wearing our colours. Shame he's chosen a questionable style, but maybe I'm hair jealous, just blessed with a shiny pate, not his greEezy locks.

I've been a trust member since near the inception, but being based in the Black Country, I admit I've not pulled my finger out enough to attend any meetings.

However I do want to add my vote to having a vote /s on the ACV being in place, (at this time, or at all) the Trust leadership, & importantly it's intended direction. If that has to initially be carried out via a Survey Monkey non sanctioned show of hands, then subject to our voting responses, used to force an official mandated BWST vote/election, lets try it.

Who's of us combines the IT knowledge, WW standing & general wherewithal to press on with this? I can afford a little time, but little else that'd allow me to be a mainstay, but very happy to play a part as an underling!

Count me in.

Well well well. Email from Smith telling that Izza wants to come on the podcast.

See if you can get him to go into more detail on his suggestion during nosegate that Anderson wouldn't want anybody taking an interest in our accounts

The suggestion of wrong doing was obvious

Oh I definitely will

Then get legal advice before it goes out :)

I'll use the old 'man on the internet said' defence

Hi Mike

I don't run LOV Twitter - I get my messages second hand hence the delay. You decide what you want to do

My understanding is (I'm the same as any other fan on here when it comes to this type of thing)  the  ACV  prevents a secret sale, it doesn't however prevent or restrict any future financing, its there to protect the stadium from being sold off..

Supporters Direct, who's advice we took regarding this, will be giving an independent view on how an ACV can impact a club and why it is important for a club like ours to have this safeguard,

I for one, and I'm sure everybody on here... would not want to be left in a situation like Coventry...!

We will be starting the election process in the next few weeks, I can't give any specific dates until after our next meeting,

but they are at the top of the agenda
