Winding Up Orders

Last I heard, it was court tomorrow

ST and Lies reported 3, including Heathcotes mob

KA said that was old news, leaving 2

Now, I can see HMRC is definitely a club issue, but the other is Sport Shield

If we assume KA can deal with HMRC debt - I'd have been happier if he had sorted that one already, tbf- that 'just' leaves SS and blumarble

If the court agrees to wind up SS, do we know what that means and also the impact on BWFC

  • The harsh reality is that name of the club has been dragged through the dirt in last few years. Massive debts, relegation, players not being paid etc etc.   Go back to when KA was first linked he w

  • Mounts had a word and told them the financial benefit of having a football stadium 300 yards away

  • Imagine that, a site that represents BWFC's hardcore support being pro-the bloke who has saved us from oblivion. Just fucking imagine that.

There is no annual fee, I'm a paid up member/shareholder, I object to pretty much everything they've ever done. People were signing up their grannies and the dog, hold an AGM and see how few people care.

Ken > BWFCST.

I thought the yearly contributions had been scrapped

Thus meaning they can continue to claim to have a mandate from everybody who ever tipped up a tenner

Fwiw I don't believe for a minute that 3500 folk paid a tenner

But I'll be happily proved wrong if somebody can point me to the accounts

I think 3500 may have joined for a tenner.

Even if they all paid a second time (which I doubt that the majority did) it would not pay the wages for two weeks, maybe not even one.

So their positive impact is minimal above North West Counties League.

It was the best tenner ive never spent

Nice work, Ken

The tenner was never meant to be used as income to run a club guess you know that though.

Yes, but it illustrates the scale of the ST.

And the scale of wanderersways ?

We can all be cynical

Thing is wanderersways doesn't claim to have a mandate to speak for all Bolton supporters

Well done sweaty lad.

I'm still struggling to find anything he's done wrong since he took over.

Don't think the trust claims to be mandated by all the fans that as we all know is an impossibility.

Don't know any of the ST board myself but most of the anti-trust rhetoric on here seems personal.

Agree there needs to be a full AGM though see how many turn up hopefully it won't be like a early league cup match attendance.

Yeah they do

Yeah they do

Where do the Trust say they represent all fans?

Where do the Trust say they represent all fans?

On their very own website

I'd say the inference is clear as day in the first paragraph on their site

However they also claim to be democratic...

The Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust is a democratic, not for profit organisation of supporters, committed to strengthening the voice of supporters in the decision making process at the club, and strengthening the links between the club and the community it serves.

so if its "non profit" whats happened to the 10 x 3500 fans ,,, just asking for a friend

There may well be 3,820 or so listed but I doubt very much that they are all adults, rather than people who have paid a £10 for their babies, dog or pet budgerigar!

The only OFFICIAL detail of membership I've ever seen was at the height of their popularity just after the Legends game when their elections were held - 9th July, 2016.

The independent Returning Officer reported that they had just 2,537 ELIGABLE members who could vote - ie no pets or babies allowed - see link below.

I find it therefore unbelievable that they've increased their membership by over 50% in a period when they've been widely condemned on every form of social media that I'm aware of (apart of course from Iles and the Bolton News).

As for their accounts, the last ones submitted up to 31st July last year can be purchased at the link below

I find it ironic in the extreme that their accounts and AGM are now both overdue!

Considering the amount of vitriol and scorn they've aimed at Anderson over a long period of time for having over due accounts and a long term embargo, I would have thought the last thing they would do is to be late on their own administrative matters.

How very hypocritical of them.

i quite like the brassneck of the trust having their address as the Macron.

Cheeky fuckers

We are a cheery lot us Wanderers fans aren't we . if you were in a lifeboat full of Bolton fans you wouldn't want to doze off .

You would probably be safer in the Stretford  boat or even the Dinglecraft.

Expectations will rise from here, Kenny boy

Not really.

Personally, I just find it frustrating that a bunch self appointed spokesmen for supporters seem intent on making everything the bloke who saved the club wants to do just that little bit more difficult.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that they said they would be moving, as its not really appropriate to be at the macron.

Presumably that's not yet happened.

It say date of last move 01 Sept 2017 ?

well the self appointed bit has some credence so I suppose those of us left in the trust will have to try to change things at the next election , maybe get people elected who will cut  Anderson some slack without being stuck up his jacksy.

I think if people are against the idea of a trust then whatever it does will attract brickbats from them .

My only reason for being in it is because ad nuseam  it could be the survival vehicle of last resort , I know Sluffy & the awkward squad will contest that it wouldn't make any difference but I am willing to give it a shot because heyho they certainly wont be able to do jack shit.

Reasonable enough.

A difficult job for whoever is elected. If anyone is that is.

Must admit, I didn't realise the trust was a limited company.
