An interesting bit that Baker mentioned but wasn't in the clip above was that it was his performance at the 1922 committee, referenced in the headmasters office part, that made him come to this conclusion. One that if shared with others within his cabal will probably be the nail on the coffin.

Indeed, that was probably the most damning part of his statement. 4:29 in this clip

Intresting to look at the ministrial code - Selflessness, Integrity, Objectivity, Accountability, Openess, Honesty and Leadership. Johnson's scoresheet isn't looking great....

The Committee to look at his position has 7 members.

The chairman (Bryant and one other) are Labour.

One is SNP.

There are 4 Conservatives: Sir Bernard Jenkin, who is an independent-minded Tory, one who is an aid to Liz Truss, one from a red wall seat, and one who is a lawyer with a future as a minister.

Any or all could vote against Johnson; in fact I would say it is more likely to be unanimous against him than to be 4-3 in his favour.

Hasn't one of the Labour Chairs declared himself unsuitable because of his well-documented personal dislike of Johnson?

The chairman always has to be a member of the opposition.

That is how I understand it and the make up of the committee has to reflect the Parliamentary representations.

But I thought Bryant was very unprofessional when interviewed on Channel 4 news last night saying that Johnson was "Toast". Nowt like an impartial chairman eh?

He purposely removed himself from the role due to his on the record comments. I think he is allowed a bit of a flounce now.

Didn't know that, who is going to be the Chairman now?

Angie?

You obviously prefer people posting pictures of their tea than actually giving a shit about our amazing nation being run by a cabal of narcissist wankers.

To each their own.

No doubt if another party formed the next government you would simply wait patiently for 5 years to cast your vote without criticising them if you thought they were utter shit?

Course you can

Personally debates don’t end well on social media as folk slog it out for nothing just turns into who can shout the loudest and it doesn’t solve anything apart from blood pressure going up
