Do you know who at the EU drove it? Is it likely that its been championed by some of the Eastern European countries or could it potentially have come from the Western European players or even us perhaps

Point being do you think that you wont have any bull shit legislation coming your way when we are out of the EU? We are good enough at making our own systems and legislation long winded, I don't by into it that its been driven by the EU

You cant tell me that they are more anal about this stuff in Poland than they are over here

We can still drink espresso and eat paella without having them forcing dogshit legislation on us.

Can they still drink stout and eat lobby  though?

Yes but Lobby now has an export tariff of £100 per dollop.

This was 100% pure Brussels arseache.

It centres around ERP ratings and they've lumped the UK in with every fucker else because it helps them look better as we toe the line and will make it look like their crackpot, generic, one size certainly doesn't fucking fit all plan is working.

Cunts.

Excellently pitched speech so far from TM....

She's fucking useless with questions mind!

A game of two halves.

Mind, the first two journos to ask questions were Italian born.

Ace.

I never claimed she wrote it :-)

I thought there were a lot of words, but very little substance.

It did sound very much like she's abandoned the "no deal is better than a bad deal" policy though, which is good news

Not the right forum for a lot of detail. It might be a line in the sand though; nothing more to be offered.

I thought she reiterated that!

And, if she did, she'd be right

It's obvious the UK trying to hold an olive branch to the EU idiots let's hope they have the common sense to grasp it, it's been apparent from day 1 we have to let them (the EU) be seen not to be weak and so be it let them perceive their stance and our attempt to heal the rift as long as we get out. If they decide to push too hard we really have to impose our will by leaving even without a deal and that's why we must keep that ultimate course of action firmly on the table. Everything is going exactly as I thought it would and the end result will be fine as predicted from day 1.

Hmmmmm.

Went for a job interview with a Japanese company yesterday

They've centralised all their EMEA manufacturing to St Albans recently

One thing that I'll give the Japs is that they are very good at looking long term and there is no way they would invest in the UK if they could see a big problem

Haha...remind me again of the final position. We leave the EU with what deal?

My prediction has been confirmed. We will still be in the EU in April 2019, and well beyond that date. My arse is more than safe.

Fair play cheese, called it early doors!

If I could be arsed I'd go back and find your original post, you got hammered for about 50 pages after that prediction

Be some humble pie to be eaten but then again most the people giving you the grief have stopped posting

To be honest, the practice has become enjoyable. I do it on a nightly basis now.

Maybe you should tell Theresa.

Does nobody else find it odd that Michael Gove has blocked the release of the DEFRA reports into post-Brexit food prices?

The reasoning behind it is literally "it would be bad if the public had access to this information". Brilliant.
