3 people at my Mum's funeral whilst they held parties simply because the weather was nice.

Aye, I'm still a bit frothy.

You can party anytime, you bury your Mum once.

It's as wrong now as the day it happened as far as I'm concerned and the likes of that top-hatted fucking horror-lantern Mogg telling me it "was nothing" simply makes my piss bubble a bit more.

Consider that a bite.

Wasn’t looking for a bite. And apologies to you if I caused offense as I think you know me enough to know not my intention nor to anyone who’s had to lose loved ones and sit back whilst 5men and a dog were only allowed at a funeral.
it’s so wrong what they’ve done and continue to do. And an insult to all of us.

only one way folk can change it though. And frothing on here (not aimed at you) won’t do it. To some though it’s simply another avenue to berate the government. Whatever they’ve done positive or negative (mostly negative admittedly) they jump in

im sure I recall a post or a thread even moaning about the price of a jar of beetroot or red cabbage and it being Boris’ fault. It’s madness. Hence why I stopped really bothering on here. It’s not healthy.

Im struggling to get my head around people defending him in any way shape or form.

Not just for the offence but the continuous lying.

Type of folk that'd take their partner back after they'd been shagging about.

Who on here is actually defending him? I don’t see it.

I think Boris has been brilliant with the Ukraine situation by the way.

Even though he's been fined, he'll not resign. This Russia/Ukraine war has happened at just the right time, I bet he's absolutely desperate for the Russians to drop some chemical weapons on a bus load of Ukrainian school kids this evening, in order to keep the media spotlight as far away from him as possible

Something like "I don't believe that I acted inappropriately but I'm far too busy running the country as well as leading practical help to Ukraine to contest the matter through the courts so I will find someone to pay the fine and crack on."

You’re alright. It’s a sore subject for me though. 👍

Ukraine is  a country which gave up its nuclear weapons (to Russia) between 1993 and 1996.

They are protected by the Budapest Memorandum. Ho hum.

Ukraine is no excuse, bin the pair of them for lying in Parliament.

Exactly. This is a matter of trust and even more important at a time of war that we have a leader we can trust. He has to go.

So has he definitely and unequivocally lied to Parliament? If so - he needs binning. Absolutely awful timing though - and a big boost to Vladimir Putin if it happens. Sadly.

A few times, no rules were broken (lie 1), it was a work event (lie 2), I didn’t know it was a party (lie 3) and on it goes!

What utter bollocks. Why are people swallowing this obvious nonsense?

We're not at war either.

Mind boggling really.  Unless Bozo has the keys to all the armoured vehicles we are supplying 🤷

Putin wouldn't give a shiny shite. The Tories are still in power which have gladly taken lots of Russian money.

It's OK, he's just said sorry and paid the fine.

What do you mean 'swallowing'?

This is an independent thought. One that, you know, I've considered in my own brain.

A major player in the coalition against Russia losing its Prime Minister because he's lied to Parliament will be a huge propaganda coup for Russia.

I don't know why that is so hard to fathom?

He’s a cunt for breaking the rules he formulated, (and I ain’t defending him) however I’m more interested in his support of the people & business’s during Covid, his support of the Ukrainian people and the corrupt cronyism during his term. It is a very mixed bag and I think he’s living on borrowed time.

We wouldn't "lose our Prime Minister", we'd just have a different one. As mentioned above, we have changed Prime Minister's during virtually every war we've ever engaged in, and we aren't even engaged in this one.

You're confusing "the Government" with "Boris Johnson".

The argument that now is not the time to change PM is beyond me. Really is.

Even more reason to get someone else in. Though I'm struggling to think who amongst that entitled rabble?

Douglas Ross also look like a reet fanny up here.

If Russia stay in Ukraine for the next 10 years, what do we do, just cancel General Elections for a decade?
