I’m alright here.

Someone has to save it. All our resident retirees are too busy planning to go and live in the sun.

Interest rates increased to tackle inflation rises exaggerated by war shocker. Outrageous behaviour by the BoE.

And how dare they make it worse and forecast people and businesses will tighten their belts as a result resulting in slowed growth.

off with their heads I say.

We'll be fine, you fannies.

@boltondiverwill be along very soon to explain how.

THEY SHOULD HAVE PREPARED.

You know the rules by now. No excuses. 🙂

Inflation was rapidly rising well before Putin started his bullshit.

It was always going to happen to some degree as the world emerged from Covid.

Mounts should be leader, he’d have stockpiled everything we need.

Just to be sure. It’s nothing to do with the war and not at all related in any way to the current state of play in China for covid related issues? That is correct yes?

and brexit alone is causing inflation across the globe to rise, correct? If not it’s just the cause in the uk yes? And we aren’t feeling the impact of any other global issues on our fair isle? If so I will doff my cap and apologize profusely.

Just another one for your expert view. Why is for example German inflation higher today than uk inflation rate? Brexit? Undoubtedly it is a large contributor to our rate. Why is it impacting them So much do you think?

Booooooo 😁

I met a German yesterday randomly. He was the CFO for TDK (didn't even know TDK was still a thing)

Anyway, he fucking hated the Greeks.

That is all.

I'm off to Sweden in a few weeks on busyness

I'll let you know what our aryan friends make of the situation.

Freight charges biggest driver of inflation in my sector, the pound weakness against the dollar will further impact prices in the next few months. These increases are same for everyone and we’ve had to pass on the increases to our customers.

Brexit hasn’t impacted our cost base at all as we switched any EU based customers onto FOB and we haven’t any suppliers in the EU.

We manufacture across the globe but majority is in the EU. Price increases on raw materials and components has gone through the roof and like you we’ve now passed this onto our customers as we had no choice it was unsustainable.

we import all our parts and product into the uk from the EU. We don’t pay a tariff on any of it post brexit. Our price increases as I’ve said aren’t due to brexit they are due to global price increases.

but apparently it’s all entirely down to brexit. You ask how or why and get silence. Wonder why?

No suppliers in the EU

Switched them all

Makes you wonder why.

Did you pay tariffs before Brexit?

No you know this. So no benefit it that’s the angle you are stupidly coming from 😎

We did get them quicker though that I will admit!

But im trying to understand how the price increases are the fault of brexit?

and maybe you know the answer to the question I’ve asked earlier possibly? How has Germany been so badly affected by brexit that their inflation rate is above the uk? Because ours is solely due to brexit, apparently, so there’s must be as well? as basic economic principles dont really change if you’re in or out of the EU or at least it didn’t when I studied it at university.

So Brexit isn’t protecting us from the dangers that are troubling the EU?

Its a shame, because that would have been a win for Mogg and co.

As it is, we just wait for the bonuses to appear.

Thats kinda my point.

I get that hence me highlighting it

Can you help me understand my question? How is Germany so badly affected by brexit that their inflation rate is through the roof? It shouldn’t be too difficult to explain I wouldn’t have thought?
