Im just waiting for the triumphant catcalls of the Rees-Mogg supporters club to tell us why leaving HAS benefitted us during an economically turbulent time.

That was sorta one of the reasons - financial independence that stopped us having to be sucked into the same turbulence as the EU.

Doesnt seem to have had any effect.

Or to put it another way - we spent £300million a week on a new defender but we’re still shipping goals.

Agreed the benefits are scarce if at all to be seen currently. As I’ve said I would change my vote were it to be held today knowing what I know.

And then what would happen across the rest of the world at that point as they’ve not been impacted by brexit but still have in some cases higher rates of inflation than us? So would there’s then get worse or better?

I’m not blaming Brexit for the war in Ukraine or the supply shortages in the Far East.

I’m mental, but not blind.

But Brexit has now the chance to prove its worth.

In all honesty if it has any impact it is likely to make it worse. You know this and I can see this as well as can most people.

im starting to think we should stop the news reporting on stuff like that. I’m coming round to the idea of an anti brexit news channel 24/7 and can just sit and watch that and ignore the going’s on worldwide. Be simpler I guess and take less brain power.

In reality we've yet to see what brexit Britain will look like. The cons were always going to come out first, as we all said. The shit that's gone on in the last couple of years however has delayed and dwarfed any impacts. These pesky Chinese still not moving on.

Still it gives him something to bleat about.

Correct. Pay the fine and apologise. Which im sure he will. Although the PM breaking the law is slightly different as we all Know but starmer with his background should have known better If he is found guilty of wrongdoing.

Seems labour have done really well up here and even taking some off the snp which is a huge sign that folk are also getting fed up of jimmy slowly but surely. They will still be resounding winner overall in terms of councilors voted in but the mood is changing. And the longer she hides away from The referendum that’s never going to happen the more painful it will become.

I suppose the difference is both the PM and chancellor stated in the HoC that they didn't attend any parties which were lies and therefore misled the house.

I am not sure he has broken the rules but if he has and gets a fine he's probably got to resign given what he has said about Partygate.

He won’t resign and would point to Boris. But he’s squealed on and on that Boris must resign so if he doesn’t it leaves him looking a bit daft.
