Which labour folks are we blaming though?

Its important that we get any deflections in early.

12 years in and the energy crisis is the fault of Labour for not building stuff we still aren't building and never have been.

I do understand when people say politicians just lie and talk bollocks but since Johnson got in power it's just 100 times worse. Also, how the hell in 2022 is Jacob Rees Mogg on the front bench?

Repealing the human rights act. This British Bill of Rights is looking to remove/make it harder to get a judicial review of certain public bodies.

My missus was on hold for an hour the other day to her doctors in Horwich, when they finally answered I think the next appointment they had was in 2 weeks.

the warnings from those in the know have been there for ages, and yet nothing is done.

People will simply turn up at A&E instead, clogging up the hospital.

But at least they have loads of PPE

It’s not just GPS though is it. It’s hospitals, schools, housing and Governments of both parties over the last 20 years have ignored the fact that the population has grown by 10 million, just since Blair came to power. With around another 500k every year it’s not going to improve is it? It’s not just the UK either, it’s the whole world suffering from population growth. Sadly the politicians are so fixated on net zero that they completely ignore this as the biggest threat to humanity.

Could she not have been more prepared and rang up two weeks ago?

Get over it, we've moved on xx

Funnily enough, I actually suggested that she starts making appointments every month even if she doesn’t need them.

If a retiree misses out due to her superb planning and ends up without their meds, then that’s their fault.

My mate seems to be happy enough. Just took order of a brand new Mercedes, Thursday's off...

It's hard work but he's got his work/life balance sorted it seems.

Although having said that, I've still not managed to get a face to face appointment for my knee in two years...

Given up and doing strength training myself, knee still gives me gip though if I do any sort of running. Which at 44, is a bit of a pain.

As good a place as any I suppose..

Father-In-Law dislocated his hip yesterday morning getting out of the bath. Rang for an Ambulance at just before 9am, Mrs Sweep went over to sit with him, to wait for the ambulance......anyway, the ambulance finally rocks up at just after 8pm, so only the 11 hours 🙂

The two paramedics in the Ambulance only weigh about 6 stone wet through, so the Fire Brigade are called to put him on a stretcher and lug him down the stairs and then into the Ambulance, it's getting towards 9pm now.

Ambulance off to Lister Hospital, which is only 2 miles from the house.......it then sits in a queue of Ambulances until 11pm, before he's admitted.

So from calling 999, to getting into the hospital that's only 2 miles away, it took 14 hours  -  that's fucking bonkers, he was in severe pain for all nearly all that time (until he got on the gas and air)

Anyway, he's in surgery now, as it was too far dislocated top just pop it back in

Hope he’s ok

See, your father in law literally can't move on.

Once out of surgery though.

I felt sorry for the Paramedics, and they've couldn't apologise enough. I bet they do get some right abuse when they go to some places 10+ hours after the patient calls 999. It's certainly not their fault, and they even said to Mrs Sweep as they got ready to drive him to the hospital "We're off to sit in a 3 hour queue now"

Anyway, and update, apparently he has to have his leg in a splint for a few weeks......so he might be coming to stay here for a few days. I can't fucking wait 🤥

Aye, she actually said "up to 6 weeks" but I've ignored that 🙂
