She’s not being turned on by the press Ani, they’re just revealing some of the realities about her. If she really is lazy and not in the detail as Lord Frost and others have said, we don’t want to replace BoJo with a female copycat. She has written a book full of gay support, her brother is an active gay rights supporter and just as Carrie influenced Boris, she’s been influenced by him. She did claim trans women were women and she did try to remove the word mother on the bill she worked on and replace with pregnant “person.” Bill Gates did write the forward in her book and she is full on with net zero.

Now there’s nothing wrong with being any of those things but she’s tried to deny some of them and laugh away others but they are all truths and indicate the liberal and left leaning beliefs she clearly holds. If the Tory members aren’t made aware of the beliefs of all the candidates before a vote is taken, then it’s no good finding out afterwards when it’s too late.

Your point might be more credible if they were doing the same to other candidates to the same volume.

This is the state of the Tories at the moment - Lord Frost, a man who signed off on a Brexit deal and then turned round and said it was rubbish. Oh aye, he's a man for detail all right.

Its a shambles of a party at the moment, and its a mess of their own making that they can't clear up.

An 'book full of Gay support' Fucking hell, lad. I though Bolty was stuck in the past.

So you don’t think they’ve been banging on about Rishi’s background or green card or non dom, dragged up old videos of Truss on Cheese and being a Lib Dem or not voting for Brexit? Kemi has little to be criticised for yet the Black left lobby are claiming her a traitor and her beliefs on anti woke, debating net zero are being well highlighted. Like I said, we should know much more about all the candidates, especially those who we don’t really know at all? I was also a PM fan until I knew more about her but if she is the winner then I’ll get behind her and want her to do well.

Absolutely nothing wrong with supporting gay rights, as I said but it’s one of numerous indications of her left leaning and liberal views which might not be what most Tory voters associate with. Why so touchy?

Took a look at the Daily Mail site and flick through the headlines.

So you’re saying that vast numbers of Tory voters aren’t so keen on the gays?

It’s ok to support gay rights, but many Tories won’t want to be associated with supporting gay rights.

You’re proper baffled

I'm surpised that gay rights is a left leaning issue. Personally I'd say it was a human rights issue and therefore isn't left or right.

Odd you mention it.

Blimey.

So are you saying most Tory voters are illiberal bigots?

So she's changed her mind since?

And she changed her mind on Brexit?

Goodness me. She'd get eaten alive by the ultras if she ever posted on here with a track record like that.

That's not all, her mum was a strong anti nuclear supporter and as she admitted on Political Thinking with Nick Robinson she has been on marches shouting 'Maggie, Maggie, Maggie, Out! Out! Out!'

What a strange response, if you support PM I would thought you would have been annoyed by the fact that press are turning on her as it is clear the puppet masters want Truss in, it will get down to two and the guns will turn on Rishi. What happened to the defenders of democracy ?

Instead let's paint a picture of it might be like if Labour were in power and blame them. The Tory party surely does not want to draw attention to 'sinister paymasters' eh ? Boris ?

As you well know, I am strange. Tonight I may avert my attention to Stranger Things ;)

Not annoyed for the simple reason that years of observation have taught me that certain things, especially in the maelstrom of politics, are inevitable. PM has been tactically brilliant. Withdrawn from the public eye for a few months; launching her tilt at the leadership late in the piece; cleverly including a Q&A session at the end of her launch etc. It was always going to be the case that her opposition would attack the tall poppy sooner or later - especially after such a spectacular launch by comparison to the rest and her popularity throughout the membership. Will it be enough though? I hope not and that she fends off Truss & Co. before demolishing Sunak in the final run off.

I know dyslexia can be a debilitating condition so, with this in mind, I will keep this brief for you. The reference to the Labour Party was not one of my heartfelt rants against the evils of socialism. Merely a comment on the nature of politics when it comes to leadership contests. I could quite easily have used the pointless centrists or the skirt wearing ingrates from north of the border but I must be unconsciously drawn to exposing evil.

Trying to draw a comparison between the redecoration of a London flat/a flight to a private island to over a century of sleaze ranging from communist infiltration to  branch stacking and various other sinister activities is like comparing The Dog and Duck playing an unregistered player to years of bribery and corruption by the  Agnelli's at Juventus. Beyond ludicrous.

He's always fucking touchy. The fact of the matter is, whether I personally like it or not, PM appears to have  contemporary views on some subjects which I would have thought would appeal to the wokists and snowflakes who seem to be growing in number in places like this one.

There isn't a politician alive on which any of us will agree with utterly and completely. He knows that of course.

I would place her right at the centre of the Conservative Party which is good enough for me. The theatrical one knows what is likely to happen to his dahling chardonnay (and strawberries and cream) quaffing socialists if she gets the gig. They will continue to lose at the despatch box and very likely at the next GE.

This is why he is touchy (unless he's scuffed one of his elbow patches today?).

I think I preferred him when he was in gainful employment.

At least his bullshit was short and sweet then.😃

What happens if they become a majority?

You'll then be a minority so expect lots of pandering and well meaning, earnest folk speaking out on your behalf in sympathetic, nay pitying condescension.

You'll enjoy that 🙂
