Not to dismiss stabbings and murder in anyway but for a bit of context an estimated 2 million people went to the NHC over the bank holiday. Over 200 hundred were arrested, that's around 0.001% of the people who attended.

At the Reading Festival there's 105,000, 49 arrests which statistically make it a more 'dangerous' event. Also 50 ejections for the tent burning.

Notting Hill is a free for all limited to particular areas of a massive city (as far as I know) 

Reading / Leeds are paid for ring fenced events. 

Anyway... No matter race colour or creed if you go twerking atop a bus stop with 10 other adults and think you'll be fine you deserve everything you get! 🤣

Maybe, maybe not, but I reckon there's a long drawn out knock on effect with such things 

There's probably a colleration, at least between less policing and a rise in crime in general

You're right it's not, and what that does show is that given the paid for/free nature of the events one is also a much more difficult place to police.

Correct. What is clear is that reducing police numbers by 20 thousand has significantly contributed to how ineffective the police are. 6% of thefts or burglaries result in a conviction. That statistic alone is frightening. Many crimes are not even investigated.
 

The police numbers have increased during Bozos term as PM but the lasting damage and lack of trained officers is evident everywhere not just Khans London.

I knew him well years ago as he worked with my missus.

One of life’s genuinely nice guys and put some proper yards in for Bolton residents.

He was much too young to die, goes without saying.
